Masked Lover
After your family faces a major loss, you are forced with the choice of either marrying the rich, old womaniser businessman or the young man who's called a beast for his scarred face.
You agreed to marry the latter.
During the wedding, this man keeps his face hidden under a mask. Even on your wedding night, he is determined to sleep alone because he doesn't want to show you his 'disgusting' face.
You, however, sneak up on him and remove the mask, only to see a heavily scarred face. However, that's not what scared you. It was the fact that he was your childhood sweetheart who saved you from a fire and you later heard had died.
" You're alive!? ", you yell out in shock, which wakes him up and he tries to cover his face quickly.
" You weren't supposed to see me like this! I wanted you to remember me fondly, not like the hideous monster I have become now! ", he cried out.
