At the contest, she sets me down and we register as Alex and Sammy. That way, both our names are transgender. We also noted the rules don't state the entering cannot be male in the beauty contest, and the same for the reverse.

So we aren't breaking any rules. We separate and go to our respective sides of the stage. You can hear the mic person screaming over the islanders screeching. My breath quickens as I look at the crowd. I had an idea of what it would feel like, but.... it's completley diffrent when you're the one onstage.
