Have you ever wondered why we have so many problems in life?
In my personal opinion it's not that we have problems its that we need problems. Right now your internal monologue is probably something along the lines of "I don't need problems, life would be great without problems." I wish.
Anyway let's imagine our problems as the bumps on a roller coaster. The slow parts of the roller coaster are the parts were you're stress free, cool, calm, and collected. Now for the high parts of the roller coaster. Like the different highs of the coaster the are different severities of problems. It ranges from broken nails--wrecked the car--lost your child at Disney world--somehow triggered the apocalypse- the list could go on and on.
At a young age you start with small problems like not being able get a toy or being put in time out. As you grow bigger so do your problems. Let's skip on over to high school years. Here is a list of things that I think of when I hear high school. Balance your social life with school work, be an involved student, play sports join clubs, but don't forget ten hours of homework every night, make friends but watch out for backstabbing liars. After that you have to try to be an adult and I'm not gonna make a list because let's face it that list would be to long.
As we get older and your problems threaten to overwhelm you , you focus on the little things. For example: your grades are down let's fret about slow wifi your having family troubles let's worry about going shopping your dying of cancer let's worry about going to Amsterdam( i know that was cruel I'm sorry I watched the movie yesterday)
If we only worried about the major problems we would lose our minds. We need the little problems as distractions from the big things going on in our life. And what's the fun in a roller coaster without hills to go over.
