*Mike's P.O.V*
Could this really be the girl I'm thinking about? What if its just someone pretending to be her.

No it has to be her. My first ever girlfriend. The first girlfriend I had that I really fell in love with.

Ok, let me explain the whole deal here.

Tyra is a childhood family friend. Me and her always had that special connection. We always had some of the same hobbies, jokes, and even articles of clothing.

We got along so well. We were friends from when I was 5 till I was 18. But sadly, her family decided to move away.

Before they moved away, her and I had started dating. We dated from when I was 15 and she was 14. We dated up until her moving. That relationship was one I will never forget.

When she moved away I was afraid of loving someone else. Because of the fear of them having to leave me always gave me problems.

But now she's back. I can't believe my eyes. At first I thought I was hallucinating, but when we hugged it was like a thunder bolt went off.

"Hi Mike." Her sweet voice said.

"I can't believe its you. I haven't seen you in 4 years, how are you?" I asked.

"Great now that I've seen you." She said soflty.

"Geez. That's good. Where did you go? I haven't seen you in 4 years Tyra. You didn't even tell me where you went. You just left. Do you know how much that hurt?" I said trying not to cry, or seem hurt.

"I'm sorry Mike. But I didn't even know where I was going. My parents wouldn't tell me. But can I just please talk to you." She said tearing up.

"Yes of course. Come in." I said moving aside so she could go in.

Wesat on the couch and looked straight at each other.

"Ok. So it all started when I moved. Life was so happy, nice, and cheerful. But for the two years that I was forced to live with my parents, were hell. My dad turned into a drug addict, and my mom started drinking.

My life was going in a downwards spiral. I attended college for one year, then was forced to drop out, because I couldn't keep paying.

My dad started being abusive. Not the kind with fists. The kind with words.

He told me that I deserved to die, and not live happy, and that what you and I had was just a joke. That I ruined his life the moment I was born. That I'm just a waste of a body.

The things started getting to me, and I tried my very best to stay strong. But you can only be strong for so long. I started sneaking out a lot, and going out to places doing drugs, but I stopped. I've now been 7 months sober, clean, and nice.

Now that I found you. Things in life are finally getting better. I was also wondering if we could pick up where we left off." She said.

"Oh Tyra. You don't know how much I've missed you. I've waited these past 4 years for you, and I would wait 4 more if I had to. But I don't of course I'll take you back." I said gladly.

*Leslie's P.O.V*

I woke up. I was having trouble breathing. I always have in the morning. But this time it was different it was like someone was holding me down by my throat.

I was having a really bad time breathing. Those hands, they seem familiar. Too familiar. They were my dads. He was holding onto my throat, till I felt myself passing out.

It was then, I woke up, gasping for air. Almost dying every time I exhale.

"Tony!" I cry out in between breaths.

I heard some movement in the bathroom before he came out with his boxers halfwaay down his legs, and him holding a toilet plunger up in defense.

"What's wrong?!"

"I need... Myyy pump." I said gasping for air.

"Oh god." Here he said handing it to me.

I took a couple of breaths in, and I tried calming down. Which was easy since I had Tony holding me in his hands.

"Are you ok? What happened.!?" He asked with a worried face.

"I had a really bad nightmare of my father choking me. I was gasping for air, and I fainted in the dream, that's when I woke up gasoong for air." I said.

"Geez, its ok Leslie. Im here to rootect you. As long as you're mine, even if you aren't, I will always protect you."he said kissing my head.

"Thank you. I couldn't have asked for. a better boyfriend." I said breathing calmly.
