'What else is new?'
'Fair point. I mean, why should he care, everybody usually leaves him eventually.'
'Exactly.'
'Yeah but everybody has a reason'
'Look at him! Isn't THAT a good enough reason?'
'I guess you do have a point....'
'Told ya so!'
'Thank You.'
'Whatever.'
The voices kept tossing and turning inside of my head. Each one having a battle with one another all I could do was listen as they bickered about their favourite topic.
Me. I pretended to fall asleep as the blankets practically engulfed my whole body except for my head.
Choco was humming something sweet and soft but I was too bust listening to the screams inside my mind.
Some were gentle and trying to stand up for me. But were immediately shut down by all of the others. Sometimes the voices even sounded like my friends!
Well...... Ex friends. Tears threatening to prick my eyes I quickly silenced myself as Choco went back down the stairs.....
I can't do this to them....This isn't fair. I did this to Mat, I did this to Rob,
I did this to Lachlan and Jerome and I am NOT going to do this to Choco and Kenny too...........
'Run Preston....'
"Where will I go?" I asked. All of my voices buzzing around in excitement one was louder than the rest.
'The park! Where else can a depressed little shit like you go?'
"Fair point....." I murmured. My eyes quickly scanning the room I snatched up my phone and keys, grabbed whatever was mine and slid the window open.
Not even caring about getting injured I lunged off of the balcony and smacked into the ground.
Pain overwhelming my body I cringed as the sickening cracks popped in my ear. God........That hurt....
'Best moment of my life.'
'Oh my gosh same!'
"Whatever guys..." I grumbled. Numbness taking over my body once more I stood up.
My skin on fire as I limped towards the park that was just up the street. If I'm lucky maybe I got a broken leg.....After all, I deserve everything life throws at me...
Unnoticed tears falling down my face I unlocked my phone and began to text Vikk.
'Hey Vikk.'
Waiting for a few seconds I immediately saw the chat bubble pop up and a smile crept it's way onto my lips.
'Hey Preston. What's up?'
My heart melting at the sight of the text message I immediately responded. Now feeling the sticky, hot tears fall down my face.
'Nothing much. Just going to the Park.' I sent. Butterflies swirling around in my stomach what I saw Vikk text next made my heart drop.
'I'm at the Park. Wanna come meet me? :)'
My eyes widening at the text I felt more tears fall down my face. A smile rising on my lips I let my fingers type down the answer.
'I wouldn't miss it for the world ;)'
