"I'm not being a baby, its just, its getting kinda dark, and, can't we do this tomorrow?"
"Well, if you hadn't stalled all day then we could've gotten it done earlier."
"Yeah Mary, Georgia's right. We should've come after we left the movie, but you had to go get something to eat."
"Shut up Ricky, no one asked you."
"Come on Mary, the more you stall , the darker it'll get."
"Fine, but I'm only going to the witching tree and back, no further."
"OK."
With a heavy sigh the girl walked into the darkening woods. Her friends watched as she went deeper and deeper into the tangle of trees. They waited for her to return, they waited, and waited, the last slim beam of light disappeared over the high peaks. Then they heard a scream.
