Chloe POV:

I woke up at the sound of alarm clocks ringing. I groaned and hit the snooze button, not ready to get up. But to my disappointment, my brother, steven, barged in and shouted " Time to get up sleepy head, you need to get ready for school!" "Fine......." I replied, with my voice trailing off due to my tiredness. "That's a good girl" He said like talking to a pet. "I ain't a dog" I reminded him with a cold tone "Fine... Just hurry up and go get ready for school" After the conversation, I took a nice, warm shower, put on my clothes and met my family downstairs for breakfast. "Hey Chloe! When u going to find your mate?" asked Steven out of the blue. "Don't make it tough on her, she'll find her mate when the time comes. Right Chloe?" My father said trying to defend me. "Yeah, but he's right, I'm need to start looking for my mate." I replied "Finally agree with me haven't you?" Steven said and everyone burst into laughter. "Steven! We're gonna be late for school! Come on let's go!" Shortly after which we rushed off. Sadly neither Steven nor I could drive so we had to run. By the time we reached school, we were drenched in sweat and breathing heavily. "We made it just on time, whew!" On the way to my class, I saw my best friends, Ashley and Ethan, leaning against their locker and talking. "What's up?" I shouted over to them. "Hey Chloe!" They both said at the same time.   "What you two talking about?"   "Just about who our mates could be." said Ethan   "And who could they be?"   "To be honest our conversation got no where."   "Well then, lets get to class before we're late" We managed to get to class right before our teacher came in and heaved a sigh of relief. --------- After school, a pack member, Alex, told us about a party that was going to be held at the pack house that night. "Oh my gosh! I'm so excited!" I squealed in excitement!   ;Hopefully we are going to find our mates there! I'm so excited!" Ashley squealed like me! When Ashley said that, I was somewhat even more excited to be going! Was I going to find my mate there? Who could it be? Nothing could describe the thrill I was feeling!
