Chapter Nine

"Hey Kendall, the doctors say you can hear everything that goes on, it's been three years and they said it should be anytime when you wake up."

Mom?

I could hear everything she said. Wake up? But I was already awake.

I pushed my eyes open and blinked a few times to get my eyes used to the light.

"Kendall! Doctor, she woke up!" My mom went rushing out of the room.

"What happened. It was all my imagination?" I mumbled to myself.

I imagined Cameron and Hayes.

Does that mean I imagined Maddie too?

"Kk! I'm so glad you woke up! I missed my bro." Maddie. I never imagined her. She just was in my mind.

"What am I doing here? What happened."

"Three years ago when we were doing one of our dances, you fell and went into a coma. They said they didn't know if you would even wake up. You kept yelling though. Something about a Cameron. Who's Cameron Kendall?"

"He's nobody. I just imagined him. But it all felt so real. I can't believe this.."

"At least you're back now."

I saw a glimpse of something and it looked like Cameron and he gave me a smile and then he disappeared.

I just figured out what happened.

Cameron was my guardian angel.

He saved me and kept me alive. That's why it felt so real.

He was actually there.
