In the town of Brooklyn, New York lived two best friends. They weren't perfect. They were loud, usually ignorant, playful, and disruptive, but for them it was the most fun to ever have. Soon they were to realize that it wouldn't last very long.

It all started in a closed bar in the dark streets of Brooklyn.

"Jesus, Rizzo, that shot was wicked!" raved Annie O'Connor as her best friend shot the eight ball into the pocket.

"It ain't always about perfecting, O'Connor, it's about ya knowledge and understanding about how to land the pocket." he bragged in a thick Brooklyn accent. Annie snorted unimpressed with the explanation.

"Or - and I'm just spit-balling here - you got a lucky shot and decided to brag about it." she accused him with a knowing smirk. Rizzo rolled his eyes and unzipped his leather jacket.

"Oh yeah? I'll show you some lucky shots, O'Connor, just wait and see. You and me, winner takes all." Rizzo bargained. Annie popped the bubblegum in her mouth and chewed loudly as she contemplated about whether to play or not.

"Winner takes all of what, Riz?" she asked while twirling around a pool stick.

"Anything the winner wants. I know I want a few things." Rizzo shortened the distance between them with a cheeky smile on his well defined face. His height being at advantage as Annie had to look slightly up at him. Her wild mess of curly hair surrounding her baby doll face was enough image to make Rizzo smile. But Annie thought differently.

"In your wildest dreams, Gianni. Maybe all that hair gel has finally got to your brain." she replied before walking away to play something on the jukebox behind the table. Rizzo grunted under his breath. In his mind, Annie was the perfect girl. Ever since grade school she's stood at a whopping 5"4, about seven inches smaller than him now. Her face was heart shaped and tanned to perfection. Her wide green eyes had always held him at interest as they wondered everywhere in awe. Her high waist polka dot shorts and jean jacket emphasized her petite size.

Yeah, in my dreams. Rizzo thought with a sigh. Annie was completely unaware of his thoughts as she turned on Don't Stop Me Now by Queen and turns around dramatically singing the lyrics.

"Tonight, I'm gonna have myself a real good time," Annie started with a smile. "C'mon, Riz, join in like the good ole days!" she urged him. Rizzo shook his head and sat on the pool table watching her dance around slowly. "I'm floating around in ecstasy so," she sang. She pouted when she realized that Rizzo was sitting this one out and twirled right up to him.

"Your not really mad about the hair gel comment are you? Because I was just joking around, you know I love your hair." she said. He shook his head and smiled when he saw her doe eyes directed at him. Suddenly, the music had picked up and Annie pulled him off of the table and began dancing around him. Rizzo laughed and joined in with belting out the familiar lyrics.

"I'm a shooting star leaping through the skies like a tiger defying the laws of gravity," they both sang while dancing around like complete idiots. And they could. Rizzo's father owned the bar and tonight it was officially closed, meaning that they could do whatever they wanted without getting busted. Annie climbed her way up onto the pool table and began go go dancing.

"I'm burning through the skies, yeah!" she sang as she perched her arms out like Superman and pretended to fly. Below her Rizzo had taken off his jacket leaving only a white fitted v-neck.

"Two hundred degrees that's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit!" he looked up to Annie, winked, and tossed his jacket on her. She laughed and jumped down to continue dancing with him. Suddenly, Annie raced to the bar and pulled out a bottle of Jack Daniels with a cheeky grin. Rizzo applauded her and sat on the bar stool with a smirk evident on his face.
