I hardly slept a wink.
I just continued to think of possible reasons why Gina had the locket.
Maybe she lost the first one too because Robin said she entered the city around the same time. And she said she was a fan, meaning she came for my concert and she most likely had the two lockets with her that night before she lost her purse and one fell out, the one I kept for myself and the one I just acquired was certainly from her bag.
I made up my mind to become more friendly with her...who knows what might slip up.

"Welcome Rob", my doctor greeted. She was wearing a bright yellow dress and black platforms, she didn't look formal enough to pass as a shrink.
"Hello, Kat", I greeted as we entered the controversial room.

"So,Rob can you tell me about your childhood?"

"Okay. But no judgements at all, just listen", I said and she nodded in agreement.
I sighed and started talking,
"myself and my twin sister grew up on a ranch in Texas. Our parents loved the country and didn't want to be in the city because of all the noise.
We all lived there until one night, when myself and Robin were about twelve years old.

We were sleeping when mother suddenly started screaming at us to wake up and start running. The stables had caught fire and it the flames were huge,I still remember Frost's continuous neighing, she was in the fire and her stall was bolted so she couldn't get out.

I think the other horses were already tired because her cries were all I could hear. Mother took us as far away from the fire as she could get. We asked where father was and she said he was putting out the fire.

After we waited for two minutes, she told us to stay that she was going to help father. So,we watched her run back to the house and after a few minutes, she was dragging father out of the kitchen door. And right before our eyes, the kitchen burst in flames too and the heavy doorpost fell on mother's back.
Instinctively,Robin and I ran towards her but she shouted at us to go back because she knew the keg full of gasoline was too close to where they were trapped.

Right before my twelve year old eyes,my parents started burning, my mother tried to bear the pain and continued to try to crawl away from the door post. But she wasn't fast enough, the fire got to the gasoline and my mother screamed as she caught fire."

"it's okay now,Rob,stop shaking", Kat said.
I hadn't even realised I was vibrating. That was the same reaction I got from my body every time I remembered that gory night.
She offered me a handkerchief and I suddenly needed to blow my nose.
"Thanks.",I said.

"I think you need some time to pull yourself back together. I know I do", she said and I saw her wet eyes. She wrote something down in my file and put it back down.

I quickly groomed myself and said good bye to my weeping shrink. I left the office and went to the same coffee shop I went to yesterday, hoping that I'd see Gina again and begin a relationship of some sort with her.

My prayer was answered when she came in and was placing her order,

"Gina!" I called out and she turned, looking for who called her name. She smiled in recognition when she found me,she picked her iced tea and came to join me at the table I was sitting at.

"Robert, waiting for someone again?", she said as soon as she sat down.
"Yes,I was waiting for you.", I said and saw her eyebrows shoot up in question,so I continued,
"I don't know anyone here except you of course, and I'm getting bored. Wanted to see you to ask if you'd keep my company for a while but I realised I didn't even have your number"

She put her cup down and smiled again," okay,I'll give you my number and I happen to have more time on my hands because we just hired someone new today at the store. " ,she beamed.
She stretched out her hand and I gave her my phone, she dialled her number on my phone and saved it as 'Super G'. I smiled at this and asked her what she saved my number as, so,she showed me the screen and I saw 'Needy Rob'.

"Heyy!!, I'm not needy. If you're super G,then I'm The amazing Rob", I complained and she giggled.
She removed the 'needy' and saved it as just 'Rob'. I sighed,
"I'll take it."
