Chapter 2

Cody's p.o.v

I don't mean to be full of myself trust me.

I just can't control myself around her. I just want her to be proud of me and what I do.

2 years, 87 days and about 3 hours I have been in love with Lindsey Robbins.

Ever since she served me my grande vanilla bean frap at Starbucks. I know, lame introduction right? I didn't care though, she was the most beautiful girl I had seen in my life.

The way her sandy hair flowed across her face, it was a dirty blonde, in between blonde and brunette. But I called it sandy, because it was unique, just like her. Her brown eyes always glowed in the sunlight, and her perfect, soft pink lips.

She never wore a large amount of makeup which I loved about her. I loved how he never cared too much about how she looked.

Lindsey was my angel.

"Cody?" She asked, snapping my out of my daydream.

"Wha- what sorry?"

"I told you I liked your hat." I smiled, as I thought about the flowery cap on my head that she now admired.

"Do you want to eat lunch with me today?" I asked, smiling at her as I looked to see the school in the distance.

"Why not, I'll give you tips on how to be less selfish"

"Ha, ha" I said, looking down at the ground.

The only thing I didn't like about Lindsey was the fact that she hated me.

I mean maybe if she understood how all the songs I write focus on her, maybe he would like me more.

I'll write her the perfect song to show her it's not all about me.
