Chapter 4

Cody's p.o.v

It almost felt like Lindsey was sort of warming up to me ever since the slushy incident.

She smiled lots more and I realized how beautiful her smile was. Her teeth were naturally straight and a bright white colour.

"Have you told a teacher?" Lindsey asked, pulling out an apple from her lunch bag.

We were sitting on an old park bench, across the soccer field, farthest from the school.

"About what?" I asked.

"Jack, I mean, hasn't he slushed you before it something?"

"Actually, usually it's the odd push, a couple gay jokes or just messing up my perfect hair. But never a slushy too the face. I'm sort I proud of him for coming up with a new one" I fake laughed, still feeling the pain of all the insults whirling in my head.

Lindsey laughed too, looking out at the group sitting in the grass. I recognized all the girls, they were all her friends.

Her two best friends stood out though. Harry and Kelsey.

Harry was a tall guy with a full head of big, brown, curly hair. He almost always wore polo shirts and V necks. And almost everyone thinks he's gay, but he's honestly the opposite.

Sometimes I think he's more straight then me.

Kelsey on the other hand has long blonde hair that sits beside her waste. She was wearing a purple sun dress, as usually. kelsey wore a sundress or some sort of skirt almost every day.

"So what's it like eating lunch with a celeb?" I asked, immediatly feeling the regret.

Idiot. Idiot. Idiot.

Lindsey just rolled her eyes and took a bite of her sandwich completely ignoring the question.

"Your just jealous of my fame" I replied.

Idiot. Idiot. Idiot.

"You know what. Sometimes I think you deserve all the bullying you get" she said before grabbing her lunch and storming off to her friends.
