She looked at the water, the one who cursed
Far below, black and burned
As they snapped and thrashed for the curse to unfold
she understood why the tale was untold
The gift of the water, the gleaming pearls
Smothered from the curse, but still glittering curls
she threw the sea ,its prized possession
hoping for forgiveness, hoping for redemption
But the pearls, the pearls , the monstrous emblems,
they stay in her hands , as the sea rejects them
they scorn and laugh ,at her futile attempts
to reverse the curse ,and make some amends
the minutes tick and clock strikes one,
the curse unfolds and the moon comes down
the giant sphere destroys everything that hides
horror struck she watches ,as the malicious sea proudly smiles
the black gleaming pearls, her only chance
she throws them again, away from her hands
but the sea ,too proud strikes them back
pearls on her dress ,she watches the valley crack
as the moon approaches ,she understands why
there is only one moon princess ,beneath the sky
the one destined to unite, the pearls and the waters
she closes her eyes and remembers all her dears
From the cliff, with moon light, on her hair
she jumps forward , into the air
from the sheer sheer ,height of the cliff
she turns to meet the sea ,far beneath
the jump was quick, the splash was loud
they scream her name ,the faces of the crowd
but alas what could, they have done
for the one who was destined for them all
the waters the water ,black above
welcome her to its realms ,with light blue love
as she opens her eyes, she finds herself
into the sea , with the pearls still on her dress
the sea hold her ,in its hands
and gently rocks her ,as much as it can
it shakes the pearls, away from the dress
and finally accepts , the moon princess
the little girl no longer stirs,
she closes her eyes and goes back to sleep
her lungs screaming for a gulp of air
she gives up hope , thinking about the ones who care
A sacrifice for another vice, rings in the ears,
as watery ,red and big eyes can only stare and stare
guilty heartened and saved from a doom
they watch the waters still and the glistening moon...
A water clash ,another splash, as the sea spirals by
thousands whites, with hoofs of might thunder from the sky.
a sacrifice, from a golden heart, accepted by the sea
with save you all , but only her, will be saved by me.
Pegasus from, the land above ,thunder to the waves
wind and water on the hunt, for only her to save
an endless roar, then up on shore ,fulfilling all wishes,
they proudly strut, to the crowd, with the moon princess
"For, a true heart that can, heal and cure
can trust its fate and know for sure
it might be tested, pulled and shoved
but with time and hope ,it will always be loved." says the smilling moon princess
