Before Loveless, Summer came out, I was just an ordinary girl in an ordinary school doing ordinary things. I would go out with my friends for pizza some Friday or Saturday nights, do homework or study for tests, and sometimes even dream about being Homecoming Queen, but never running for the title.
Then, I auditioned for Loveless, Summer. Then I got the role as Summer’s best friend Claire that steals her boyfriend. It was very clichéd. But, when the movie came out and people saw my face, they instantly noticed that I was a real actress in a real movie and they absolutely had to be my friend. Well, almost everybody.
Everybody except the Emily Schaur, the “most popular” girl, the one with the most money, the one everyone was afraid of.
And, there was also the mysterious, artistic, quiet boy, Chris. It wasn’t a big surprise that he didn’t say anything about it. He rarely ever talked to anybody, anyways. But, the thing that bothered me was that I had a secret crush on him. He had the tannest skin, the deepest, darkest, most mysterious and frightening eyes I had ever seen. He was the most artistic boy I’ve ever met, and he wasn’t afraid to show it either. So, as heart-shattering this news was, I had to admit that I had a secret love for the boy that would never notice me.
