"You're the new girl aren't you?" Asked someone behind me. I slowly turned my head in the direction of which the voice came from. It cam from a boy, and not just a boy.. No, the boy. The boy I had been glancing at just a couple of minutes ago. I looked past him to where the table was he had been sitting, now only the other guy was still sitting there. But the table was pretty far away, how had he gotten here so fast? I looked back at the perfect perfect blond haired guy in front of me, whose eyes looked like the ocean itself, for a while I just gazed in to them for they reminded me of those warm overseas countries. His blond hair was perfectly curved around his head, his head was perfectly shaped not too round and not too long either. He had no pimples or wrinkles he didn't even have bags under his eyes, which is weird for a teenager. Then my gaze went to his lips, they were such a rosy pink (the kind that only movie stars have), that you could almost feel them on your lips. I gulped and an embarrassed blush crept up to my cheeks, how could I think something like that when I didn't even know the guy. I tried to regain my composure. As I shook my head to get the weird thoughts out of my head, I saw him grinning brightly at me while Fiona was glaring furiously at him.
"Uhm, yeah." It came out way to shaky for my liking, but well couldn't really change that now.
"My name is Nathan, but you can call me Nate if you want." He said introducing himself.
"Joyce," I said in a tone that sounded careless, yeah that sounded better.
Fiona shot me a surprised glance, but I shrugged it off.
"Why are you hanging out with this loser," the boy said with arrogance. I was going to defend my new friend, when he opened his mouth again.
"Would you like me to show you around, and meet some cool people?" He asked this time with a little more sympathy. I looked at Fiona silently asking for her approval.
"Just go," she said a little angry but mainly frustrated and pained.
"Thank you," Nathan said. As he took my hand and forcefully pulled me towards the other end of the bar. Those couple of meters I felt like everybody was watching us, which probably was the case. I took one last glance over my shoulder and saw that Fiona had taken out her homework and didn't even spare me one glance, she sure didn't like Nathan.
Although Fiona wasn't looking at me, it felt like the rest of the people were. Nathan was holding my hand, not that I willing gave hiem my hand. However, I must admit I kind of liked it (the holding hands part not the part where everybody is still watching me..).
