Diane: Trespassing, Burglary, Mayhem, Mental scaring, assault with a deadly reptile nearly destroying the place as a way to escape?! Those poor rodents have suffered so much, then you all lumber in and give them more trauma?! I'm sorry, Professor, but I'll be making that phone call to the Chief

As Marmalade ran off trying to talk to Diane, the Bad Guys looked towards Snake, annoyed

Wolf: You couldn't help yourself, could you?

Snake: So I had a moment of weakness, sue me!

Winter: I'm inclined to kill you right now

Snake: You're joking, right?

Winter: Mostly

Winter responded with black smoke coming from his nose

Webs: Guys, what do we do now?

Everyone looked towards each other, worried, before Winter sighed

Winter: Let me talk to her

Winter made an ice path sliding next to Diane

Winter: Diane, Diane, Diane

Diane: Do not Clooney me, Winter

Winter: You really think I'm that slick?

Diane: What do you want?

Winter used his wind element to close the door as they walked

Winter: I want you to give us another chance

Diane sighed as they got to the front door. Annoyed Diane spoke up

Diane: I gave you a chance; they had their chance, and they blew it

Winter: Did you feel that way about yourself when you went good?

Diane rubbed her face, sighing as she looked into Winter's eyes

Diane: That was different. This is a big public spectacle that you're trying to pull off. I need to call the chief

As Diane was about to leave, Winter gently grabbed her paw as she looked at him

Winter: When you first found me in my universe, you didn't give up, you kept going until you all found me and made me who I am today and made me fall for you all

Diane: It's getting harder to believe that Winter, I know you showed the photo, but I need more proof. How do I know I can fully trust you?

Winter sighed before gently kissing Diane on the lips, holding her cheeks with his claws, and scratching behind her ears. Diane was shocked at first, but soon melted into the kiss, wrapping her arms around Winter's neck. The pair had to part for oxygen as Diane smiled, adjusting her glasses

Diane: Okay, I guess that's a good trust exercise

Winter: Really? I just wanted to kiss you

Diane: That scratching behind the ear was the key for me. I've never told anyone about my weak spot there, which means I can trust you

Diane playfully booped Winter's nose as she headed for her car

Winter: So you're not going to call the chief?

Diane: See you at the Gala?

Winter: I guess so

Diane: You owe me a dance, though, okay?

Winter: Really? I mean, I guess I could. I'm not the best dancer

Diane chuckled, kissing Winter's cheek, giving him a warm, comforting smile
