SHORT & UNEDITED!!!! I FEEL BAD FOR IT BEING A MONTH SINCE MY LAST UPDATE!

The sun was beginning to poke through the nights claws as Annalise continued to venture about. She thought maybe she had walked a good 3 miles when the smell of salty air and dead fish filled her nose. The smell had Annalise remembering when she was younger and her mom and dad brought her out here, before everything happened. Annalise knew where she was and a smile formed on her lips as she began to speed walk, then sped up to a run.

She was gasping for air when she reached the beach and the view right in front of her made her gasp, not for air but shock-longing. The view was a calming sunrise with orange and red morphing into a giant burning yellow circle. The feeling of freedom rang through her body.

As Annalise walked to the edge of the water she caught sight of something move in the corner of her eye. She looked over to the left and saw a group of about 6 guys around a small fire. Simply shaking her head and continuing to the water Annalise stands where the water just barely splashes onto the tip of her shoes. She smiled down at her feet then sat down and took off her shoes and socks. Putting her feet in the water and set her phone next to her. Annalise was sitting staring out at the waves crashing through the water, reminding her off the war that currently fought inside her.

A sudden buzz beside her had Annalise in goosebumps then a red tomatoes as embarrassment ran through her. She picked up her phone and saw that Emily had text her about the party.

Great! Wanna come over and we can hang out then get dressed together?

Absolutely! I'm at the beach rn but can you pick me up in an hour at the pier?

yeah sure thing...how bout i come now and we eat some breakfast?

Annalise sat there staring out for a few more minutes before standing to leave and head to the pier. Walking slowly she let her mind slip away from it cage and remind her of why she is here. What happened that night. How nobody knows what happened to her. Annalise shook at the thought and redirected her thoughts to the party that Emily was taking her to.

"So what exactly made you start YouTube if your shy?" Emily laughed while sipping on her fourth cappuccino that morning.

"I don't know!" Annalise laughed. Her and Emily had been talking for about an hour and she knew Emily had three big brothers and one little sister. She had also learned the Dementi family was actually from Oklahoma and just moved out to California a few years ago. "I honestly think it was just because I always watched YouTube and had a wild moment."

Emily laughed a full hearty laugh. "Your wild moment is nothing compared to mine. This one time me and my friend Jade wanted to get drunk so we snuck out my window and made it down the road before a opossum came out of these bushes and chased us all the way home!"

Annalise cracked up at this. She also learned that Emily was a crazy storyteller and could make even the saddest people smile. Her phone suddenly buzzed causing Annalise to look down and a message from Unknown pop up, making her heart stop for just a moment before shaking her head and refocusing on the ginger in front of her going on about the party tonight. "...and my friend Janice said her ex boyfriend-oh my god!"

"What?" Annalise looked up at Emily who was staring behind her. She turned and saw the group of guys from earlier had came in and were sitting at the table on the other side of Starbucks. Annalise scanned over all of their faces but only one caught her attention, not to say they weren't all cute but he was different. His soft brown eyes held something beneath then and his smile didn't quite reach his eyes. It was close though. Very close.

Annalise turned back to Emily who was still in awe over the boys and snapped her fingers right between her eyes. Emily's eyes snapped right back to Annalise and they both began to laugh. "So which one do you want because I so totally want the one with rosy cheeks and the sexy lip ring. But if you want him I will gladly settle with the pretty-boy one with blueish green eyes and blond hair."

" How about shorter one with brown eyes?" Annalise couldn't help but look back to see his eyes one more time but to her surprise he was already looking at her. Quickly averting her eyes away she turned back to Emily who was no longer in front of her. "Emily?"

She turned back around to see Emily laughing along with something the boy with rosy cheeks said. He also held a secret in his eyes but his smile actually reached his eyes. Annalise laughed as the mystery boy and Emily swapped phones.

Moving fast are we?

Annalise shook her head and got up, throwing the rest of her water away then joining her friend on the right side, farthest from brown eyes. "Hey! this is my friend Annalise, also known as Anna Marie on YouTube! Anna this is Sam." she pointed to rosy cheeks. "And Connor," the pretty boy. "Then Kian." a tan goofy looking boy. "Ricky." a tall pale boy. "Trevor." the youngest it looked like. "Then here is JC." the soft brown eyes-secret hiding boy.

"Nice to meet you all." Annalise looked at all but JC. She thought if she looked at him she would get lost while searching for what exactly he hid.
