Sasha's pov

That same night I took an emergency flight to Toronto, Justin came along because he said I shouldn't be alone while I go through this.
We were currently on the plane and we were just sitting in silence.
" you know, it's so crazy how fast your life can change" I said looking over at him." Like one minute your waking up late for work and the next you find out that your mother is nearly dieing" I said letting out a sick chuckle.
" I know I'm sorry" he said rubbing my hand.
"Thank you for being here, I didn't realize how bad I needed you here until now" I said rubbing his cheek.
" listen, I wouldn't be anywhere else" he said kissing my forehead. I laid my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes and before I realize it. I was in a deep sleep.

*************
"Wake up sleepyhead we're here" Justin said shaking me lightly.
"Ok I'm up" I said opening my eyes and following him out the plain.
" is there someone waiting for you?" He asked as we got out of baggage claim.
" yeah my sister, she should be- "Sasha!!!!" I heard jazmin shout running over to me.
"Well there she is" I said to Justin as she ran into my arms.
"Oh Sasha, I missed you so much" she said crying into my sleeve.
"Sh-sh, it's ok baby girl I'm here" I said rubbing her back.
"How's mom?" I asked as she pulled away from me.
" she not doing so well, the doctors said her brain is failing slowly and soon it's gonna shut off completely. She woke up for like half an hour but then she had a seizure" she said looking down.
" so who's this?" She asked looking over   at Justin.
"Jaz, this is Justin. Justin this is my youngest sister jazmin" I said introducing them.
"Pleasure" he said shaking her hand
"Same to yo" she said turning around an walking away.
"Shall me go?" She asked walking towards the exit.
"Yeah lets" I said pulling my luggage.

At The House

Justin's pov

The whole car ride home, no one talked. Sasha looked like she was about to fall apart and there was nothing I could do about it, I feel like I just wanna hug her tight and not let go. I've never seen her this devastated, her eyes are red and puffy, her face is unreadable. I need to try my  best to make this a bit easier on her.

When we reached the house a tall mixed race looking guy came out to greet us, he too looked sad.
"Hello my name is George" he said with a sad smile.
"Hi George. My name is Justin" I said shaking him hand
"I'm extremely sorry to hear about what happened" I added looking down.
" thank you son, well come inside" he said taking Sasha's things and walking away.

We all got settled in, Sasha is in her old room unpacking. I went over to check on her just to make sure she's alright, but she's not. I walked in her room and she was sitting on the floor hugging a picture of her and her mom. Man I feel so bad, like I really just wanna help her.

"Sasha, come here" I said picking her up off the floor and putting her in bed. I got in beside her and pulled her in for a hug. She broke down in tears for about the millionth time.
" Justin, can you sing?" She asked looking up at me.
"Yeah I'm not too bad, want me to sing you something" I asked rubbing her cheek. She nodded her head and closed her eyes.
"Alright, so this song is called Be Alright, I've been working in it for a while.
🎶Across the ocean, across the sea starting to forget the way you look at me now. Over the mountains across the sky, need to see your face I need to look in your eyes 🎶

I barely got into the song before I heard Sasha snoring. I look down at her beautiful face, man she's gorgeous. She's helped me so much these past few months. I honestly don't know what I'd do without her.

I got up quietly and went downstairs, in the kitchen Sasha's dad, George is cooking dinner.
