Chapter 10

The next morning Chloe woke up at 7:00. They had to be at Mr.J's house early.
"Hey gorgeous. Are you awake?" Chloe asked her girlfriend who was sleeping in the same bed. Beca didn't respond. "Oi you! Wake up!" Chloe pushed her girlfriend in the shoulder but all she got was a grunt. "Come on! You stubborn mule!" She tried hard to get her girlfriend up out of bed. "Alright, time for desperate measures." Chloe grabbed her girlfriend's arms and tried to drag her out of the bed.
"Noo!" The sleepy half awake Beca said.
"Come on it's time to wake up." Said Chloe
"Five more minutes!" Beca protested.
"We have to be at Mr.J's house early!" She said dragging the sleepy Beca across the room.
"Stop!" Beca tried
"If I let you go will you stand up?"
"Yea!" She let go and the sleepy Beca didn't get up!
"Beca!" She yelled. "Get up!" She was getting. Impatient.
"Alright!" Beca got up but fell straight to the ground. "Help me up?" She asked in a sweet way.
Chloe sighed with annoyance and help the nearly awake Beca up to her feet.
She was now standing up.
"Get dressed!" Chloe ordered.
She grunted and walked to the closet. Chloe went to the kitchen to make breakfast.
Five minutes later Beca came out all dressed and ready. Chloe gave her breakfast and got dressed herself.
They got down to the lobby were their chauffeur was waiting for them. Beca was still terribly tired. But Chloe was ready to go. She was basically trying to keep Beca awake though the whole trip to Mr.J's house. She nearly fell asleep in the car. When they finally got there Chloe was feed up with keeping her awake. "Alright Beca I'm feed up with keeping you awake, I'm leaving!" Chloe yelled. But she was only joking, she just wanted to see if that would wake her up
"No no no!!!!! Please don't leave. I need you!!!!!!! Please!!!!!" She begged.
"Good then Get out of the car! And wake up!" Chloe hoped this would wake her up. And it did. She was now alert and ready to go.
"Hey. There's my shining stars. Ready to go?" Mr.J asked as the girls walk though the front door.
"Ready as ever." Chloe said
"Yep." Beca said agreeing with her.
"Well I've got it all set up for you. Now I need you to sing this. I think it will work really well with you girls. So study this. Yell when you ready to record and I will come down. Ok?" Mr.J said to them.
"Alrighty." Chloe said ready to go.
"well I'll leave you two with it." Mr.J left the room.
"Let's go Beca!" Chloe got in to the sound booth and began to study the lyrics. "Hey Beca. You alright in there? She yelled from the recoding booth.
"Yea I'm fine. I just need to work out some stuff." What she meant to say was I'm too tired to work. But she couldn't say that because she knew it would upset Chloe.
"Alright well you look like your lost. You sure your ok?" Chloe asked worry in her voice.
"Yea I'm fine." But as soon as she said that she fell to the floor.
"Beca!" Chloe yelled and rushed out of the booth. "Beca I hope you're not asleep!"
Chloe ran to her on the floor. "My head really hurts, I can't stand up or it will hurt even more."
"Well what are we going to do. We need this done." Chloe fretted she really wanted to finish.
"Chloe I don't think I can work. I feel like my head will explode."
"Well I'll call Mr.J." Chloe yelled for Him and he came running down the stairs.
"What is it?" Mr.J asked.
"She's not feeling well. Her head is hurting and she has a fever. I don't think she can work today." Chloe said hopping that Mr.J wouldn't get mad.
"Well I need her better by tomorrow, or else I'll have to find someone new.
"Alright." Chloe said with disappointment.
"Well you two head off to your hotel. Make sure to get her better by tomorrow."
Chloe help her sick girlfriend uo and walked her to the car. Chloe didn't know what to do. She needed to get this album done but also help a sick Beca get better by tomorrow, or else they were done for. But Beca was more important to chloe than an album. But Chloe didn't know that. What was she going to do?  What's more important?
