(One Year Later)
Pearl's P.O.V
Steven has been growing a bit for the past year. Me and Amethyst are still together. We all do the same routine everyday, but for some reason there hasn't been that much monsters or Curupted gems for the past month. I got an idea when Garnet walked in with Steven in her arms. Amethyst was on my lap sleeping, when Garnet sat down next to me.
"Two little ones." She said and smiled. I smiled back and moved Amethyst's hair so I could see her face clearly. We weren't bothered if Garnet seen us together or not, but sometimes Steven can get in the middle of some stuff.
"We still have a long way to go..." I say and look up at Garnet. She holds up Steven to her face and kisses his forehead. I pick Amethyst up and carefully walk her up and carry her to Steven's bed. I laid her down and walked back down the steps to see Steven crawling. Garnet defused and Ruby was playing with Steven as usual. Sapphire and me did the mother routine when they were split up. I cooked and Sapphire cleaned. She was to small to reach the stove, but luckily she was tall enough to clean the house a bit. When Amethyst woke up she played with Ruby and Steven. I was done making Amethyst and Steven's dinner. Steven had broccoli and peaches, Amethyst had peaches and a bag of chips. I set the trays on the table when Ruby grabbed Steven's. I don't really like to feed him so she does. After that Ruby and Sapphire fused again and played with Steven and Amethyst. I was the mother of the house even when Garnet was around.

Garnet's P.O.V
Me and Amethyst were playing with Steven while Pearl made some food. I already fed Steven, Amethyst ate a bit, now it's my turn.
"Pearl, can you make me some food?" I ask nicely like a little child. Pearl was like the mother of the house, even when I was around. I act like a child sometimes to make Steven or Amethyst laugh a bit.
"Yes I'll make you some food." She said and grabbed some apples. I chuckled and went back to playing with Steven and Amethyst. There hasn't been a Curupted gem or monster attacking us in a month, I haven't had any missions either. I guess Rose gave us some time to spend with Steven. I looked down to Steven who was standing up on my lap. Amethyst was smiling and so was I. I got down on my knees and tried holding up his hands. He stood up and looked at me. I could see that cute smile on his face. I tried moving forwards a bit, his feet moved with me, he was walking!
"Pearl! Look! Steven's walking!" I say look up to her.
"Oh my gosh! Where's the camera?" She said. Amethyst got up and grabbed it for Pearl. She really doesn't help around here, but when it comes to Pearl, she actually does help around here. Pearl runs over here and takes a quick picture. I try letting go of his hands but he falls a bit. I catch him before he hits the ground. My baby's first steps! I hope he learns how to walk soon. Once I was done, I got up and set Steven back on the floor with Amethyst.

Amethyst's P.O.V
I was playing with Steven once again when Pearl was done cleaning the rest of the house. Garnet went to her room and Steven started to pull on my hair.
"Steven...please stop." I ask but he continues pulling. He finally stops after a few minuets and he crawls towards Pearl. He can get in the middle of one stuff but not that much. I stand up and go to my room. I lay down and soon fall asleep. I could feel someone stroke my hair when I was sleeping. I smile and grab the hand. I look up and see Pearl with Steven again. He crawls towards me and cuddles up to my chest, Pearl joins in and we all fall a sleep. The next morning Steven was the first to wake up. He tugged on my hair to wake me up, then Pearl. I got up and smelt something bad. I know it isn't my room because we were in here all night and I cleaned up a bit before they came in. Please don't tell me he has a dirty diaper!
"Amethyst, I'm gonna go change Steven." Pearl said and walked out. That's what I mean about getting in the way of things, he either tugs on my hair or wants attention from Pearl, but whenever Opal comes to visit, he seems very happy. I mean really happy. I will just have to get used to this. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
