CHAPTER 1

"Ne eonni, i just arrived." Rael pulled her bag to her apartment that she rent as long as she here. The main reason that brought Rael here was an idol. No I'm just kidding. The main reason was to tried the korean food. The food that she and her sister saw just on TV.

Rael opened the door of her bedroom. She put down her bag (or maybe suitcase) near of her bed and walked to the window. She opened the curtain and saw the view from the room.

"Ne eonni, i will try all the korean food that we saw on TV. Eh? Idol? No, i have not see them yet. Eventhought my main reason was food but, we both know that I want to see some idol here." She laughed.

"Ne, be careful lil sister. You know how hard i am trying to convinced our parents about this? You know them right?"

"Ne eonni. Arrasoyo. Eonni, we will talk latter okay? I think i have a lot of things to do right now." Rael looked at her suitcase. "But the way thanks eonni for help me with apartment. Saranghae."

"Your welcome. Nado saranghae. Bye"

"Bye."

Rael put her phone on the bed and opened her suitcase. She started to put her clothes in the closet. Rael lifted up her black dress. Definitely, her sister who put it on her suitcase.

"Eonni, I am not going to wear this dress..."

After her finisherd her work, Rael quickly went to take a bath and prepared herself to going out. Maybe she could see some idol in this time. 10 PM. Rael wore her oversized denim jacket and black inner blouse, paired with black jeans and balck converse. Her sling black bag on the front. Prevent the posibility of theft maybe. And then she walked out from her apartment.

Rael decided to go to Han River. When she walking, she heard someone crying. Rael stopped and looked around. Nobody. Rael then took a step but then she heard it again. She keep walking and trying to find the source of that sound. Rael then stopped. Rael saw a lillte girl sitting with her head bowed. Some people just passedby and look like they wondering what happend to the little girl. Rael walked to where the little girl seat and then take a sit beside her.

"Jo...jogiyo.. what happend to you?" Rael asked.

The kid looked up to saw Rael and that make Rael suprised. Even she crying, she look so cute.

"Ahjuma, kojo." The kid said.

Rael then blinked several times and disbelief what she heard before. This kid, she told me to go? And wait..ahjuma? Ha~ she can call me eonni instead of ahjuma. Rael glanced at the kid. Whaty this kid alone in this time?"

"Eh ahjuma...aniyo..eonni will go but can you tell me why you're here? I mean, it's getting late. Whre is your parents? Have you eaten?"

The kid looked at Rael and this time she started to cry again. Rael who saw it hugged her and then the kid cried.

"It's okay. Eonni will accompany you here."

After the kid stopped crying, she let go of Rael's arm and looked at Rael.

"Jin...jinjja..jinja goma..gomawoyo." The kid said tried to catch her breath.

"Cheonmaneyo, but what are you doing here? Where is your parents? And...what is your name?"

The kid was silent for a moment.

The kid stood up from her seat. "My name is Jion. Bang Jion. My fatjer didn't care about me. He was busy with his work."

"Oh...my name is Rael...em..then your mother?"

"My mother was gone. She died after giving birth me. Maybe that's why my father hate me and didn't take care of me."

Rael suprised by ger words. This little girl. Rael stood and lowered her body so she can adjust their height.

"Forgive me for asking about it. And you know Jion. You father will not hate you. Your father loves you. Look at you. How old are you?"

"I am 5 years old."

"You are 5 years old. Your Dad really take care of you until now right? You look beautiful, cute and I'm sure you are a smart kid."

"But my father didn't looking for me. Does he love me?"

"How did you know that your Dad didn't looking for you? Maybe now he has rented the entire police to find you, maybe even the FBI?" Rael said and Rael saw a smile on Jion's face. Rael straightened up and handed her hand to Jion.

"Lets go to the police station. Maybe your father is there? How?"

Jion stared at Rael's hand and then she grabbed Rael's hand and then they were went to get a taxi.

The driver stopped the car infront of police office. Rael and Jion get down from th taxi. When they walked in the entrance, Rael saw a woman police who standing near the entrance. Rael went toward the police and then the police who aware of Rael presence looked at Rael.

"Is anything I can help you miss?"

"Em...i want to report about this kid. Missing children(?). Is anybody come to report about it?"

The police look at Rael and then Jion which was behind Rael. The kid looks a little scared. The give Rael a suspicious gaze.

"You are not a parent who want to dump her right?"

"Eh?" Rael shocked. Am I looks like a parents who want to dump my child?. "Na? Who...child...dump her..I? Aniyo, i just arrived here .." The police cut her.

"And after you leave this kid you are going to overseas. Am I right?"

"Excuse me... am I looks like a bad guy? I just arrived here. I intended to enjoy the night view in the Han River and then I saw this kid crying. When I saw it, I wondered why this kid was outside without her parents. When you see the thing like that, what will you do? Are you not going to help her?"

The police just want to answer but Rael continued her word.

"I have no choice but to take her with me and going to the police station. And now I presumed as a parents who sill dump a child? Is this the usual response that given to someone who come here for the first time?"

The atmosphere in the room was silence. All gaze toward Rael. Rael who realized it, she immediately apologized. And the woman police smiled akwardly.

"Ah ne..ne.. I am sorry too..please take a sit." She walked toward the chair and then she realized that the people still looked at them. "What are you looking at? Work!."
