I walk down the empty streets, and it is silent. The only movement is the wind blowing. It's almost like a horror movie. Although, it's kinda cool. I guess I should go to my house, maybe my family is there. God I hope my family is there. How could a earthquake do this much damage? We never have earthquakes. Ever. I just dont- ugh, whatever, it won't help to ponder about it.
I get to my house soon enough and I see it is relatively undamaged. Compared to the other buildings in town anyway. I run in. All the furniture was moved, destroyed or just gone. "Mom? Liam?" (She has a brother, and her dad died, it'll make sense later.) I walk though the house, hoping to find them. "Jeez, the place got let go a bit." Haha. I guess I can look upstairs. The stairs look a bit unsafe, but I go up any way. "Ahh!" The 3rd from the top breaks as I step on it. I quickly take my foot away. "Maybe that wasn't the best idea..." And upstairs I hear a something being knocked over. I pull out my knife.
"Meow"
"Was that a cat?" A black cat with a white patch on its chest up to it's nose comes to the top of the steps. Ha, silly me. It has more black right below it's nose, almost like a muststase. It looks really young. "Well hi there little guy!" Another follows it, which is white with black patches on it, about the same age. "Well hello to you as well!" They could be related. "Is your momma around?" I go up, and they back away. I stoop down. "Is your family missing too?" Maybe they can stick with me. I take out a water bottle, and put some in a plate that is oddly yet conveniently up here. They drank it all up. Must have not had anything in a while, they look pretty skinny. I reach out to pet them and they let me. What should I call them? I guess the black one can be Sebastian and the other I guess Milky since it's almost all white.
It was getting dark, so I went to my room, I could sleep in there. Luckily it is late sping so it should be perfect weather. I brought the kittens with me. Then something strange happened.
My room was....
Completely untouched.
How? It looked the same as it did before I left for school today. Same black comforter. Same books. Same charger for my devices. All in the same place. The lights were even on. This is way to freaky. I guess I have no other choice of where to sleep, but, this is, astonishing. I need to know what happened here and find... well anyone.
