Ragnor's POV
Magnus has been acting strange lately. I've tried to call him, so did Catarina, but no one answered. I was starting to get very worried about him. It wasn't normal for him not to contact Catarina or I at least once a month. I wonder what happened to him. Maybe it has something to do with that shadow hunter he's been seeing? Or maybe they called off a Peruvian Parade? He loves watching them on TV.

I was on my way to see if Magnus was all right when I accidentally ran into someone. "My apologies. Oh, Catarina, what are you doing here?" I asked her. "Well, hello to you to, Ragnor. And I'm on my way to see how Magnus is. Were you about on your way there as well?" "Indeed I was. He has been a little weird lately. He hasn't called me at all. Do you know what's wrong with him?" She gave me a doubtful look. "No, I'm afraid I don't know." We sigh heavily just as my phone begun to ring.

I looked at my phone more closely to see that I wasn't going crazy. Magnus. He's calling me. Finally. "Who is it?" "Our sparkling friend." I say as I answer the call. "Ragnor Fell speaking." I almost dropped my phone in shock. Oh my go- it can't be!

I immediately hung up and clung onto her arm. "Ow! Was is it? Is he ok?" She spit her words out quickly, to quickly. "We need to go get Magnus! Right now!" We were running down the street now, sprinting more like it. "What's happening?! Who was that you were talking to? Where's Magnus?!"

I frowned and told her what I had heard over the phone. Her blue skin looked very pale.
"Oh no...was it him though?" "Yes, I think so. That's what he said. Hurry up! We need to make sure he's ok!"

Half an hour later...

We had finally made it to his apartment when we heard a loud bang come from upstairs. What are you doing, Magnus?!? We practically ran into the door and started banging on it. "Magnus! It's us! Catarina and Ragnor! Let us in!" Catarina yelled. She was now screaming out of frustration. "Magnus Bane! Open this door right now, or we'll break it down!" She kept on yelling for him while I shoved my weight against the door.

Catarina's yelling was interrupted by a very weary laugh on the other side of the door. That doesn't sound like him. Maybe he has clients over? We froze in place while the laughter kept going on and on, for what seemed like forever.

The door swung open and Catarina and I practically flew backwards onto the ground. She screamed and I got in front of her. "What the hell are you?! And what did you do to Magnus Bane!?" I yelled in my High Warlock voice. It came out more like a plead.

The creature just smiled a very mean smile, like it was enjoying our fear. It's teeth were sharp and resembled small black razor blades and what I think was its hair was very, very long and silvery-white. I couldn't tell you what scared me the most, it's eyes, or the creature itself. Both were equally intimidating. Both scared me so mush I wanted to scream. Speaking of it's eyes, they were cat-slits like Magnus's. Only two differences there were was that they were blood red and sideways.

Time seemed to have stopped right where we are. Catarina got up what little courage she could and asked the creature what it's name was. The thing's smile just widened and it tilted it's head over, making a fake innocent face. It didn't do a good job. But when it spoke is when I literally felt a tear go down my face. I knew now who it was, no matter how much I wanted to deny it.

"Oh," it said in a highly scratchy voice, "you mean you don't recognize me, Catarina? It's me, Magnus.....your friend." It smiled so wide that it's face looked like it was split in two. Catarina didn't want to believe it either, by the looks of it. "No, your not! Where is he? Your not Magnus Bane, High Warlock of Brooklyn!"

For a second it's smile seemed to fade away, but it came back just as quick. The last thing I remember it say was what knocked us both out. "Well, your right there." It turned to us and inched closer, whispering, "I'm the son of Asmodeus." It smirked then everything went black.

Two days later...

Alec's POV
It was a late Saturday night and I was at the institute along with Jace, Isabelle, Clary, and Simon. We were the only ones here this week, so we had a lot of fun. We are all sitting around Izzy's bedroom when I heard my cellphone go off. They turned to stare at me with looks of surprise on there faces. I usually don't get called for anything unless it's an emergency. Still, I looked at the callers ID and sighed out of grief. It was Katt.

I hated using his real name because everyone knew who he was, so I call him the name he gave me when we first met. I had to tell them who he was, or rather my own version because I couldn't actually tell them who he is. Izzy came over to me and smirks. "It's him. You should totally start dating, like, now!" She squealed in delight. "Or are you guys a secret couple?" She added. "Look who's talking." I laughed when I saw her and Simon blush.

"Answer it already, will you? It's very annoying." Jace mumbled sarcastically. I did, though, not wanting to anger him. "Hello?" I semi asked pathetically. I still can't talk very well to guys. "Well well well, it's about time you picked up the phone." I could feel he was smiling on the other line. That means he wants to go out. I force a laugh and smile. "Sorry, I was talking to my family." They all smile when I call them my 'family'. "Do you need something?" I ask hastily.

He laughed and finally says, "I was wanting you to meet me at Takie's tonight." I now could here the disappointment in his tone. "Unless, you're busy, that is?" I knew he wasn't going to take no for an answer. So I said yes and ended the conversation as fast as possible. "Very well. Meet me there in three hours. I hope we can have some fun alone tonight...just me and you." He hung up. I knew, just could sense he was smirking at me.

I checked the time. 9:00 great, he wants to meet me there, alone, at midnight.

Next Day: early morning

Ragnor's POV
I woke up in my house on my bed. I remembered what happened last night and jumped off, expecting something bad, or that thing from yesterday. That thing is Magnus. No, it couldn't be. Magnus is at home. That was just a dream. I woke up in my bed. Everything is fine. Magnus is fine. Catarina is f- . Catarina was with me yesterday. I should call, make sure she is ok!

I called her, honestly not expecting an answer. Yet, on the third ring, she did. "Hello?" Her voice was a bit shaky. "Catarina! Thank goodness you're ok! I was so worried that you were hurt! It's me, Ragnor Fell!" I heard her exhale deeply and her sniffle. Is she crying? "Ragnor, what the he'll happened yesterday? Was that really him?" I could now tell that she was indeed crying. "Catarina, meet at Takie's and we'll talk about this there." She mumbled an answer and I started getting ready.
