Menma Uchiha

I'm...WHAT?!

Naruto walked into the cold and dark mansion, where he seemed to be finding himself at a lot lately. He saw Menma's backpack just thrown across the floor, signifying that his son had been here, and judging by the time, he should be getting ready for bed.

Naruto continued to walk into the kitchen, and he placed his coat on the back of one of the island barstools. He turned to try and find the kitchen lights, but before he could, they flashed on by themselves.

As the lights in the kitchen came to life unexpectedly, Naruto found himself face-to-face with Sasuke. The sight of Sasuke's lithe figure, wrapped in a robe that revealed just enough to make Naruto's cheeks flush, was familiar and welcome. However, Sasuke's expression was unreadable, and Naruto could sense that he had something weighing on his mind.

"Sure took you long enough, dobe."

"Yes...Gaara and I got...distracted." Naruto scratched the back of his head and laughed slightly. He almost jumped at the way Sasuke's mouth got tight, as if he had something sour, and started to walk towards Naruto with haste.

"Distracted? By doing what!?" He grabbed Naruto by his collar and pushed him against the wall.

"Sasuke, I seriously need you to stop pushing me against the wall, and NO, we weren't doing anything that you're thinking. We just got caught up updating each other on our lives. Naruto rolled his eyes and pushed Sasuke off of him. "Where's Menma? We need to go ahead and get home; we've been away for too long."

"He's sleeping. I don't think you should wake him," Sasuke smirked to himself, knowing that would make Naruto stay. "Besides, it hasn't been too long since you've been here," Naruto rolled his eyes.

"Whatever, I'm going to take a shower. You BETTER not try to sneak in there with me or I'm knocking you out!" Naruto glared at him before heading to Sasuke's bathroom.

"He knows I'm going to do it anyway, I'm not sure why he even told me that," Sasuke chuckled to himself. He's about to follow through on his plan when all of a sudden Naruto's phone lights up with a long 'ding' "Hn...He left his phone."

Sasuke went to go and look at it to see who was texting him. The contact name listed 'Gaaraa.' Sasuke rolled his eyes. "Of course, it's him. Why is he texting him when they just hung out? He says grudgingly before trying to open his phone. He tries many different codes, and none of them seem to work, so he tries one more code. The day that he and Naruto met, and to his surprise, it worked. He's shocked but smiles to himself. "He never changed it..."

As he's trying to be happy with this news, another text from Gaara comes through. He goes to read their messages, not even thinking about how Naruto would pound him into a pulp if he found out. He swipes over and notices the last few texts that were in the chat. He goes from the last message sent by Naruto.

'Thanks again for buying me the ramen, Gaara. I hope we can hang out again soon.'

'Of course, Naruto. You really should tell Sasuke about Menma soon.'

'He deserves to know he has a son.'

Sasuke's heart drops, and he reads the message over and over again. "It's impossible," just as he says that, he thinks back to what Naruto said the first day they met again.

"W-well, Menma doesn't have many friends...so he's never been invited to a sleepover." "and I have this condition that allows me to have both female and male reproductive systems....so I had him. As far as the father, that's none of your business." Naruto replied, and Sasuke looked shocked.

He didn't think much of it at the time, but thinking about it, it would add up, with the age that Menma is, him looking like and acting like Sasuke and Naruto not wanting to tell him who the father. He thinks more and more, and he tries to come up with a logical explanation, but nothing makes sense. 'Why didn't he tell me?' 'and he told Gaara of all people before he tells me..' Sasuke feels a pang in his chest, and he clutches and feels tears running down his face.
