Green Day: I Have a What?

Chapter 3

Billie's POV

"Alright. So can I come and see her." I said into the phone. I had found out where she lives and I got her home phone number. I called and asked if I could come see her.

"Um I fully understand that you are the singer for Green Day... But I have no clue how you got this number, and why you want to come here to see Mckenzie." Said a man on the other side of the phone

"Well, I feel it would be better if I told you in person... But seeing as only the adoption agency knows..." I was cut off by the man

"Wait. Adoption agency? She's not adopted. The parents.... My brother... And sister inlaw... She's...."

"Umm... I'm sorry they didn't tell you. But... Ya. She was adopted. My wife, when we first met... She got pregnant and gave the kid up, I had no idea about her. Now I want to get her back.... Or at least see her." I finished. I feel like shit that I was the one to tell him. And if he didn't know. That means she most likely doesn't know.

"Well you should know that today is the day that her parents.... They died a year ago today. Not to mention it's her birthday today. She's at school right now. She has no idea about being adopted. I guess you can come see her. When were you planning on coming."

"Well... As soon as possible would be nice. And I'm sorry for your loss." Fuck. That's just terrible.

"Ok. Well we don't have anything planned. So you can come today. If you would like. Oh. And by the way, my name is Westen."

"Ok. Ill get on the next plane. Thank you Westen." I replied.

"Welcome. See you soon... Billie" then he hung up. I feel bad. The poor girl. My poor girl. I checked when the next plane from California to Colorado is. The plane leaves in 3 hours. I called for someone to come pick me up from the airport then, I quickly got packed then went to go talk to my family. They were all in the kitchen. I sat down to explain the situation.

"Jakob. Joey. You two have a sister. She lives in Colorado. I'm going to get her and bring her back home. And Adri. I made some calls and the adoption parents died a year ago today, it's her birthday today, she's 15 and in high school." I talked sort of fast because I'm nervous. The boys if corse had a lot of questions. After an hour I had to tell the boys I had to go, 2 hours till the plane leaves. Plus the boys have school. I dropped them off on my way to the airport. The boys love going in the limo, I wasn't sure if it would be good to pick her up in one. Ill pick her up in the limo. She should like it. Right? The driver (Steve) let me out and drove off. I had a body guard there, just to get me through the crowd of forming people around trying to figure out what celebrity had gotten out if the limo. Once I got in the airport, I got all checked out, and said bye to the body guard, I sat down to wait to be boarded. There was like 30 minutes until the plane leaves.

"Oh. My. Flippin. God. Are you Billie Joe Armstrong?" I looked up from my phone, I had a hat on to cover my face, which didn't seem to work.

"Umm.... Ya" I really am not in the mood for fans right now. Don't get me wrong. I adore my fans, I just have a lot of family stuff going on right now. But I put on a smile to the girls standing in front of me. The three of them had green day shirts on they all stood in awe as I stood up to greet them. I signed their shirts and some other things, along with some pictures. Then my plane was allowing the passengers to board. I said good bye and went to board the plane. As I'm sitting here, I'm realizing that I didn't tell Westen anything about not to tell Mckenzie. Nor did I say anything to Tré or Mike. Fuck. Well at least I'll be arriving in Colorado while Mckenzie is still in school. She gets out at 2:27. Weird, I know. And I arrive at around 12:00, so I'll have time to get to the hotel, call Westen, call Tré and Mike, and get Mckenzie a birthday present. Oh shit. What am I going to get her. I know she like Green Day. But besides that and a couple other things, that's all I know about her. Right then my plane lifted off the ground and began its flight to Colorado.
