i was merely a six year old boy when i first set something on fire. see, the explanation was quite simple. i was trying to make breakfast in bed for my mother, considering it was mother's day, and i put a mac 'n cheese cup in the microwave, and the microwave sparked and lit on fire. my mom yelled at me and i was forced into my room for the rest of the day.
the second time i lit something on fire was when i was eleven. i was skateboarding across the gravel when i saw a metal pipe. now, being an eleven year old boy, i thought i was tough shit, and i decided to do a grind with my skateboard. this didn't quite go as planned, considering the skateboard lit on fire and i was sent to the hospital with second degree burns on my ankles.
the last time i set something on fire was when i was sixteen. i was sitting in the grass with my dog, and he was chasing after a butterfly. it was around the time that my dog caught the butterfly that i noticed he was in the middle of the street. as he was killing the poor butterfly, a car skidded onto the street, going around 70 miles an hour in a 25 miles an hour zone. i took my lighter, opened it, grabbed a stray tree branch, and lit it on fire before throwing it right in front of the car. the car stopped, but not before hitting my dog. and that was the last time i set something on fire.
