She's Coming Between Us (A Magcon Fanfic)

Why me?

As we get into my lovely mustang my parents got me as a graduation present, is when my nerves really got me. In just thirty minutes I'll be meeting my idols. Even though my nerves are a little shaky, I get me and my sister to the place safely. It's starting to get real crowded very fast. I quickly find a parking spot so we can get in. So far there is about 30 screaming girls anxiously waiting to meet the boys. From all the screaming I should've taken a Tylenol before we left or grabbed some ear plugs.
It's finally 11:00 and the manager and creator of Magcon, Bart Bordelon, comes out and talk to the crowd before introducing the guys. Bart leave the stage and the room goes black. Strobe lights fills the room and Miss Mahogany LOX jumps from behind the curtains and starts dancing. Mahogany LOX is the DJ and also apart of Magcon. She's the only girl.
"What's up everybody! How is everyone this lovely morning?" As everyone either answers her or just screams, she walks to her DJ stand and starts to play some sick beats. Nash Grier and Cameron Dallas burst from behind the curtains next. Nearly every single girl here starts to scream their heads off, including my sister. Nash and Cameron does their thing on stage. Cameron ends up taking his phone out started filming us for what I assume was another vine or snapchat video. We were right in the front so we were definitely in the video. Boy was my sister excited. While Cameron was filming us, Shawn Mendes, the very talented singer, comes out with his acoustic guitar strumming away.
"Ooooh, Cameron Dallas!" Shawn sings away. Once again all the girls starts to scream. This time I couldn't help myself. I love Shawn's angelic voice. He was singing the famous "Cameron Dallas Song" he wrote at a Magcon event last year.
"What's up New Orleans!" Shawn says after he finish singing. He comes to the edge of the stage to come shake hands with a few of us.
Next up was Jack and Jack. You could swear they are brothers. They have been best friends since they were little and it's just ironic that they have the same first name. They are both singers. Some of their songs you can find on iTunes. My favorite song is Flights. They joke around on the stage with the others that were still there. Jack Gilinsky and Shawn decides to sing a cover for us. While they were busy singing, two people sneaks out from behind the curtains. Those two people were none other than Matthew Espinosa and Taylor Caniff. I tried my best to contain my excitement as well as the others around me. They came out to pull a prank on Jack and Shawn. Matt and Taylor runs up behind both of the guys and smacks each boy in the face with what appears to be whipped cream. They yelled "smackcam". Nash videoed it so he must have been apart of it. Smackcam is a prank that was a trend a while back on vine where someone sneaks up on someone else and just smacks them.
Everyone just burst into laughter including Shawn and Jack. They never could get mad at each other because they know they don't mean any harm. And I was right. It was whipped cream that they used. Cameron just walks up to Shawn and licks his face. That's when all these young girls went crazy. Luckily my sister wasn't that crazy but was able to take a picture of it. After that I really couldn't take my eyes off of Taylor and Matt. Taylor was licking the whipped cream off his hand very sexually, but that's just his normal self. Matt was busy chasing Jack Johnson around the stage until Jack tripped and fell. Matt saw his chance and jumped on Jack. While I was trying to take pictures of Matt on Jack, I noticed Taylor staring at someone. Me. He was staring at me. But why? He waves at me and I awkwardly wave back. He walks towards me and grabs the mic from Shawn.
"Hey you. What's your name?" I was so shocked. My mouth was open but nothing was coming out until my sister nudged me in the side a little bit.
"My name is Maria." His hand was out for me to shake his hand.
"Why don't you come on stage with us?" He talks to the security guard who is the only barrier between the stage and the crowd. The security guard helps me up on stage while Taylor grabs my hand. I was so confused as to what's happening. One minute I was just in the crowd and then surrounded by the Magcon boys in the next.
"Well hello Maria!" Shawn comes up to me and shakes my hand. Cameron runs up to me, nearly picks me up and gives me a huge hug. I sneak a look at my sister and she's giving me the evil look because I'm hugging "her love". After I either hugged or shook hands with everyone, I took a seat where Shawn and Jack was.
"We're gonna do a little something different at this event. Maria and few other girls will get the chance to hang out with us on stage today. If you are not picked, don't you worry. You will be getting something extra special at the end of this event!" Nash announces. "As you can see there's no Carter and Aaron with us here today. Aaron had some family emergencies to take care of and Carter is sick with the flu. They send their love and is giving every single one of y'all a free autographed t-shirt!"
Taylor takes out his phone ask me to take a selfie with him. I had the hugest smile on my face so I hope I didn't look like an idiot. Then he opens up vine and starts to film a video.
"Yoooooooo! What's up New Orleans!" He points his phone at the crowd then at all of us on stage then back on him. And of course he couldn't end his vine without shouting "pubic hair".
Mahogany LOX comes from behind her DJ stand and walks up to me and says,
"Maria I love your top! Where did you get it?"
"I actually made it myself" Mahogany was in awe.
"Omg! You have to make me one!"
"Sure thing! I'll gladly make you one!"
"We have a fashion designer on our hands you guys." Matt sits down next to me. "So tell us about yourself."
"Well, uh, my name is Maria Mariposa. I'm 18. I just graduated from high school last May. And I'm actually about to go to school for cosmetology." I started to blush really bad.
"Congrats to you!" Jack Gilinsky gives me a high five. Him and Jack just graduated the year before me but is only a few month older.
"Let this be a graduation present from us!" Matt says as he gets up and let's Shawn takes his seat. Shawn begins to play his guitar and sings a song that he wrote. We heard it all before and I absolutely love it. It's called Life of the Party. When I first heard it I couldn't believe that a record label haven't signed him yet. While Shawn was serenading me, Taylor was watching me, hard. I couldn't help but blush. At that moment I knew I had everything.
Two hours has passed and all the six other girls went up and had their chance on stage. Now it was time for the meet and greet portion of the event. As I wait in line with my sister, I get very anxious to meet up with Taylor again. What's gonna happen this time? Once we were up next we got to take pictures with each of the guys separately and then altogether. But before the group picture, Taylor and Matthew were the last two. They both slipped me a piece of paper with their numbers on it. I was wondering if maybe they was doing it to everyone so I ask my sister.
"Hey Linda, did any of the guys give you anything?"
"No. Why? Were they suppose too?"
So why me? Why did I just score my idols' numbers? Are they up to something? For our group picture I manage to get next to Taylor and Matt. During each takes, I turn to them and ask them about it.
"Why did you give me your numbers?"
"Why, you don't want it?" Taylor joked. Matt just smiled.
"We think you're a pretty cool chick." Matt is still smiling but this time he grabs my hand. It felt unreal. Taylor Caniff and Matthew Espinosa just gave me their numbers! I keep this to myself because for one, Taylor and Matt wouldn't like that idea that they only gave me it and no one else and second I could receive a lot of hate. If girls heard that I got their numbers, they would think I'm lying just to get attention or what not. So I keep that little information to myself. I'm not even gonna tell my sister about it.
Once we take our group photo, it's time for us to go home. As we walk through the door, Matt runs up to me. He pulls me aside from my sister who was busy fan-girling with some girls about their new autographed shirts.
"It was really nice meeting you." Matt said in a very shy voice.
"Pleasures all mines."
"I hope you use that number wisely."
"If you mean not giving it away? Trust me, I'm guarding it with my life." I say with a playful laugh."
"You have a pretty laugh"
"Thanks." I blush.
"Well I gotta go, I hope to see you again someday."
"Maybe next time your in New Orleans. Or if somehow I manage to get myself to LA." I joke.
"That could be arranged." Matt says with a smirk. All I could do was blush even more. Matt walks away. As I turn to walk back towards my sister, someone taps me on my shoulder. I turn around and it's Taylor.
"You thought you could leave without telling me bye?" Taylor starts laughing and gives me a big hug.
"I'm just messing with ya. I love your smile by the way."
"Thanks." At this point I must be smiling like an idiot, again.
"I hope to receive a text from you soon. If not, I'll come haunt you down." He's grinning.
"This is Louisiana. Our houses are always armed with shotguns. I doubt you would, but I'd like to see you try." I smirk back at him.
"Nahh, I don't mess with shotguns. But I'll be looking forward to your text. Bye Maria." Taylor gives me another hug and leaves to go catch up with the others who we're helping the crew pick up everything.
