Theory

This isn't really a theory but more of a metaphor. Li'l butler was first seen in "Maximum Capacity" he was on a movie that Amethyst and Greg loved. Li'l butler represents Steven because like Li'l butler, Steven was a child that had to grow up to fast. Also he has huge responsibilities that a young child would normally never have to do.
