The missing link (Steven universe x reader)

Chapter 21

( (Y/N) pov) 

It's been one year after Stevens death then he regenerated in front of my eyes and then we left it was amazing seeing Steven for one last time I hope he didn't notice that one of my gems are craked. But that was a easy fix I just went to roses fountain.

It's been really boring since Steven got back I used to go on mission with garnet and amethyst when pearl was watching over Stevens gem but now that Stevens back I don't get to go on missions with garnet and amethyst. I really miss it I liked garnet the most she knows what I am she knows that I'm a fusion a true fusion.

I warp over to Stevens and see him on sitting on his bed clutching his gem I run up to Steven and ask him "what's wrong Steven?" He just looks at me and says nothing and starts to walk out of the temple i look at the time and it's 12.00 midnight Steven walks out of the temple. I run up to the temple door and bang on it and call for pearl she comes running out.

I say to her "I warped in and I saw Steven on his bed clutching his gem and he just walked out and it's midnight. We need to find him" she nods and looks at me in the eye and says "I don't know what has gotten in to him he has been like this every day and night"

We run out the temple and follow his foot steps that are imprinted in the sand we start to see Steven and we run but we don't get to close to him we stay a couple feet behind him staying in the shadows. Steven walks up a cliff and just simply walks off pearl and I both yell at the same time "STEVEN"

(Amethyst,s pov)

I sit on a broken bit of the a cliff I always come up here and start to think about how at the start garnet and pearl didn't want me with them but rose made them look differently on the situation all of a sudden I am snapped out of my train of thought by the yelling of pearl and (Y/N) yelling "STEVEN" so as I hear that I see Steven fall off the cliff I summon my whip and grab him with it I start to pull him up but then something grabs me from behind I look at the whip as it gets caught in between a rock I smile Because I know that Steven is okay for now.

I try so hard to keep my weapon summoned but I start to faint I try kicking and screaming to try to get my self loose from my attacker but I can't I look forward and see pearl jump down and find my whip grabbed onto Steven she grabs Steven and holds him close she looks in my direction but only to see me get dragged off into the darkness the I black out.
