I sit on the floor drawing a huge mural of the world. The realism and bright colors make it look like the ground was glass and the earth was really underneath me.
My name is Avery Claw. I'm a 15 year old girl. I have butt length blonde/brown hair. I'm very small but am quick as a bunny. I was put in this jail since day one. My parents had twins and the chancellor made them choose between me and her. I suppose they like brown eyes over emerald eyes. I don't hold a single thing against them though.
The whole arc calls me the innocent. Apparently I have a really kind heart. I also never want to hurt anyone so I trained to be a doctor. Ever since I could read I would study. The doctors on the arc visit me from time to time to help with some of the patients
But oh well. I have a nice life I suppose. Everyone I meet I become friends with. I'm friends with all the arc guards and doctors.
I smile and sit on my bed. Suddenly the door of my prison opens. I recognize the face. It was one of the guards. His name is George.
"Hello George how are you?" I ask smiling. He looks at my picture, guiltily.
"They sent me here to get you. Their sending you down to earth." He says with almost a whisper. My eyes light up.
"Oh that's amazing. I'll come with you just let me grab my chalk." I sigh happily. He looks up with a soft smile.
I grab a small box of my chalk and walk out of the room. George walks closely behind.
"Avery? They want you to put on this bracelet. It monitors your vitals." He says. I nod and slip my small hand through it.
He walks behind me slightly and I skip along the corridor. There I see Clarke and Mrs. Griffin. I have met Mrs griffin before because the doctors like to brag about me.
"Hi Mrs. Griffin! Is this your daughter?" I say as I skip up next to them. I wave to the two guards next to Clarke. They wave back.
"Yes Avery. I was telling her where you are going but I suppose you already know?" She smiles sweetly at me.
"Oh absolutely. I'm excited." I say giggling. I turn slightly so I'm facing Clarke.
"Hi! I'm Avery! I've heard all about you! The guards say you have amazing drawings." I gush while Mrs. Griffin leaves.
"I know all about you. Your The innocent." Clarke says emphasizing my nickname.
"And I know all about you. Even the secret you have to keep." I whisper slightly to her while the guards tail us. Her eyes widen.
"H-how?" She asks.
"I'm the one who told your dad to check it out. I was talking with him one day and told him some statistics about the air quality and he said he'd check it out. Later that day he told it to me and said he was going to go public after he told you." I said nonchalantly.
"Awful thing that is. I told all of the doctors. I also told them not to tell your mom because they are her doctors and I didn't want her to be floated." I say thoughtfully.
"That's amazing. You don't even Realize how much power you have." Clarke says.
"Ha! Not to sound mean but I know how much power I have. Sorry to say this but I'm not completely innocent. I'm very manipulative. That's why you had your charcoal." I say smiling.
"Wow." Is all she says.
"Yep. I'm also the reason the girl. Octavia stayed hidden for so long." I say smiling thinking back to it.
Her eyes widen. But before she says anything another guard pushes her away to a seat. I didn't realize but we are on a separate ship now.
I climb into mine. Two guards have to help me because I'm so small. The seat straps were all rusty and needed to be tightened around me.
