I awake more comfortable then my other mornings. My prison cell is warmer.
I open my eyes to see. Then all the memories come flooding back to me. I look down. On my stomach is the most beautiful girl in the world. Which is no longer and hyperbole.
If I asked anyone who was the most beautiful person on the Arc, they would all say the innocent. Not even her twin sister. Just her.
Her brown hair that falls into a beautiful golden color. Her large doe eyes that always frame innocence. Her body that all girls wish to have. Her cute button nose that's sprinkled with freckles.
Everything about her is beautiful. I'm not sure how I got her. I'm way to tall and have really long hair. But then again this is The innocent here. She makes friendship bracelets with the guards.
I was so happy when she asked me out. Then I got my first kiss! She really is amazing and mine.
She stirs and stretches out like an adorable kitten. She wipes the sleep out of her eyes and looks up at me.
"Yay! It wasn't a dream!" She says and pecks my lips. I chuckle and we both get up.I grab her hand and we both head back to the others.
But before we do, Avery finds a very small barn owl on a low branch.
The only thing wrong with it? It has a third eye.
"Oh jasper can I have it?" She begs with puppy dog eyes. I nod without even realizing it. It's just her emerald eyes look like they're speckled with gold.
Avery spins around and walks up to the bird.
"Hi! You are so cute! I will call you Pearl. Will you be mine." She asks. It's like she's magic because the bird hoots and flys onto her shoulder.
She smiles and walks on. Okay first she talks to a dear, then a water snake, and now she talks to owls. God she rocks!
"Ok Pearl can you wake everyone up?" She asks. The bird does a bird nod. Then It starts to hoot really loud. But it was beautiful it sounded like a song.
Everyone wakes up. None look tired, they look re-energized.
"Okay up and at em. We have 7.3 hours before our body's start to shut down do to hunger." She says and starts to skip around everyone.
"Come on Tavia!" She whines. Octavia gets up and gives Avery a kiss on the cheek. Avery then skips over to Finn and Clarke who are trying to shush the bird.
Monty walks over to me and leans against the tree.
"Dude how can someone be so kind when their family actually abandoned them. I mean Averys family gets treated horribly because they hear stories about how kind the innocent. And they just gave her up. Yet they say she holds nothing against them.
But man if her sister was in jail I doubt she'd act the same. Her sister is a royal bitch. She claims Avery is an attention hog but she's the one who does anything for attention." Monty ranted.
"I know man I mean she hits on all the guards and pretty much wears under wear. But she really doesn't, Erm, take care of her body?" I suggest. She really doesn't. She's a little on the chubby side and has yellow teeth.
"Yeah but her family still keeps her. They spoil her even though guards gave them the most run down quarters." Monty says
I nod and Octavia joins us.
"Hey what's up?" She asks.
"We're ranting about how Averys family is messed up." Monty says.
"Oh I know. Her family usually never come to see her. But when's they do its just her mom and sister. Her mom sits and glares while her sister yells profanities and awful stuff at her. It usually ends up with her eyes watery but she never cries." Octavia says.
