*flashback*

My family and I are coming back from visiting Dylan's youtube convention. It was really fun supporting him throughout his career. It's actually snowing here in Canada. I stared at the snow as it gracefully fell onto the window. It shows often in Toronto but it just fascinates me every time.

I broke out of my thoughts and glanced over at Dylan on his phone. Dylan noticed me and smirked at me then continued whatever he was doing on his phone. Dylan then smiled at me while handing me his phone. I took it hesitantly and looked at the hypnosis spiral spinning.

I furrowed my eyebrows at him and he gave me the 'continue' look. I continued to watch the spiral and suddenly a horrifying picture came up on his phone. I hate it when Dylan does this, he knows I'm not good handeling scary things!

I let out a piercing shriek and dropped his phone, my mom sharply looked back me not taking her hands off the wheel. I caught my breath as moms hands turned the wheels, forcing the car towards the cliff off the road. I hadn't noticed until it was too late.

"WAIT MOM LOOK OUT" Dylan yelled.

The car tumbled down the cliff and landed sideways. It all happened so fast that it all seemed like a blur. As cliche as that sounds. My head pounded and black spots appears until I couldn't see anymore.

---

I awoke on the ground, covered in snow. I took in my surroundings and saw that I was in a completely different outfit. I don't remember putting this on. Wait, isn't this where the car crashed? I quickly got up and saw moms car upside down, crushed, and in flames across the street. My heart sank at the sight.

Fire trucks and ambulances were surrounding the area. The sirens of the trucks and the sound of people talking filled the air. My heart began to race faster than it has ever been. Louder than it has ever been.

"Mom, Dad, Dylan" I whispered to myself.

"MOM, DADDY, DYLAN" I cried aloud. I scanned the area for at least one of them but couldn't find them.

What's going on, why can't anybody hear me?

Everyone kept rushing back and forth as if I wasn't even there. I looked around more and my jaw dropped at the sight of my limp, lifeless body being carried by the paramedics.

Am I dying? No, no I can't be dying right now. How am I-What?

"Chanel wake up, wake up Chanel. C'mon wake up. You gotta wake up." I said tugging on my hair thinking it would wake me up. It didn't.

The paramedics placed my fragile body onto the gurney and rolled me into the back of the ambulance. I followed in the ambulance and the men closed the back doors, driving off to the hospital. I stared at the horrific scene in disbelief until we took a left turn heading onto the streets of Pickering. It didn't take long to get there considering that Pickering was a small town.

---

I watched as nurses and doctors ran in and out the room doing tests apon tests, but I wasn't waking up. I felt as if I was slipping away but I didn't know if I was dying for sure. I was about to leave the room to clear my mind when a nurse came in blue scrubs and whispered in my ear.

"Whether you live or die sweetie, is up to you" she said.

"But I don't want to die" I yelled as if she could hear me.

I stormed out the room and into the hallways of the hospital. I dropped on my kness as tears streamed down my face.

"I WANT THIS TO BE OVER"

And with that said I saw a light shining in my face.

No, no!

I ran as fast as I could away from the light but I couldn't out run it, it caught up with me and I fell to the ground not being able to feel anything when everything went black.
