Hey Peepers! <3 :)
I appologize for not finishing my other stories I am going to take them off wattpad because I have no feel for them anymore and i cant get back into them after such a long time. Anyway, this story is going to be short. I am not expecting more than 5 chapters. I am not sure how many pages this chapter is. This is actually a short story I wrote in grade 11. that was 3 years ago :P (Yes I am getting old, boo me. But hey am still 17 and have a long life to live xD )
Anyway! back on topic! This was originally much simpler and would probably take 3 paes to write on wattpad with the ending and all. But I decided to pepper it and give it more flavor :P So I hope you enjoy because I know how this story is going to end. But it's all about the journey right ;)
Enjoy ;) <3

Wake Up Call
Chapter I:
Nothing is working according to my plans, my life is messed up. I’m in desperate need of a change. Finally I’ve decided to pack my bags and move from here. I don’t know where I am going, but it’s somewhere far.
I eventually found a place to start my adventure. Madagascar! I’ve always wanted to go there, I heard lots of people talk about its marvellous nature and wild life. As I was looking at ticket prices I let out a sad sigh. Little did I know how expensive it would be for me to fly there! I’d have to go somewhere closer to home yet far enough. So instead I decided to go move closer to my friend Sam, who has also recently moved too. He lives in Ohio now, so that’s where I am headed.
Although I couldn’t go to Madagascar, I met the cast of Madagascar 2 on my way! It was so much fun! They even offered me a role but as soon as I knew I was going to be the skunk I apologetically refused. Me, a skunk! I don’t think so. Still cool isn’t it!
I continued my way to Ohio. Everything was going great; the bus driver said we’ll reach there in less than three hours. I’ve always knew that my luck follows me everywhere. The bus’ tire went flat to prove it.
So much for an adventure.
More to my fortunate life, the spare tire was missing. We all tried to stop any passing car but it was hopeless. I sat on the side of the road watching people panicing around me. There was no signal on our phones either. Great. Just great.
After a while, I realised that this could be it. This could actually be the adventure I’ve always wanted. I stood up quickly and grabbed my back pack then shouted “I am going forward for help, anyone cares to join?” For a second, everyone seized in action and looked at me like I was a freak from hell. I didn’t really care. I turned around and just as I was about to take off, a guy from the crowd came up to me and smiled “count me in”. I smiled back at him “the more the merrier”.
It was getting darker, I glanced back at the rest of the passengers and saw them exchanging frantic looks. Then a series of unsynchronized “I am going too. I don’t want to stay here in the dark” was mumbled as people began to grab their luggage and approach my way. I smiled. That’s what I am talking about.
Soon enough we were all walking together. Everyone was hoping to find a bus stop or a gas station on the way. It has been an hour now, no sign of life around, the sun has set and the cold breeze was a little soothing. I spotted some trees in the distance and decided to go there, hoping we’ll run into a house or a gas station. We quickened our pace, desperately moving forward and away from the outstretched lifeless desert that was helplessly surrounding us.
