Sango was at school and was wondering where Kagome was. ‘Where is she? I hope she’s ok.’ She looked around and realized that Inuyasha wasn’t there either. ‘What? Inuyasha isn't here either? I wonder what’s going on.’ She sat there for a minute when a thought hit her. ‘I bet Miroku knows where he is.’ She finally spotted him. She went up to him. “Hey Miroku. Where’s Inuyasha?” “I don’t know Sango. Kagome’s not here?” “No.” They both just sat there wondering where their friends could be. “Wait both Inuyasha and Kagome aren’t here. That means that they’re together. So they should be fine.” “You're right.” She was going to say something else when class started. For the rest of the class she would look towards the door hoping that they would walk in at any minute.

Inuyasha had just got in. He put Kagome on the couch and looked over her to see if she had any wounds. ‘Thank kami! She has no major wounds or anything.’ So he sat on the edge of the couch. She was still unconscious from what happened earlier that day. She rolled over and said something in her sleep. “ NO! Please stop!! Get away from me! Inuyasha! Inuyasha please help me!” “I’m right here Kagome.” “Inuyasha please help. Inuyasha. NO! Please.”  “Kagome wake up!” As those words worked into her conscience she screamed once more. “No!”  As the terror threaten to over come her he hugged her. “Kagome!” She finally opens her eyes. ‘Where am I?’ She looks around and realizes that she was at Inuyasha’s house. Then she felt an arm around her waist. She started to wiggle and was just about to scream for help when she heard a familiar voice. “Kagome it’s me!” Even though she knew who he is he could see the fear in her eyes. “Kagome it’s alright. You’re safe now.” She looked at him fear still evident in her eyes.  He just hugged her even harder. Once when her breathing was normal he let go. “Oh Kagome. What did he try to do to you?”  “Do you want to know what he was trying to do to me? He was trying to rape me! That what he was trying to do!” She got off the couch and stared into the fireplace with her back facing him. She felt a hand on her shoulder. “NO! Get away from me!” He removed his hand like she electrocuted him. He tried again and succeeded. All the while she was trying to be free of him. “Please let me go! Inuyasha help me!” When she didn’t feel him let go she stared crying, begging for him to stop. “Please stop. Please.” He lifted her chin and looked into her eyes and knew she didn’ really see him. ‘She thinking about earlier.’ He let her go. That’s when she seemed to come back to the present. She turned around and actually sees him. “OMG! I’m so sorry. I didn’t … I mean I don’t know what’s wrong with me.” She turned back to the fireplace. “Is this how I’m going to act toward every single guy I meet?” She knew he could her the tears in her voice. So she turned to face him. “Especially you?” As she looked up at him he could smell and see the tears that ran down her face.  He couldn’t stand to watch her surfer like that. So he gathered her in his arms and held her too his heart. As he held her she cried. “What almost happened earlier today was a big ordeal but you’ll get over it eventually.” He kissed the top of her head in a brotherly way. She had stopped crying and was hanging onto his very word. “You really think so?” There was something in her eyes that he couldn’t identify. She started to blush when she realized that he was staring at her. “W-What?” He didn’t bother to answer. He then realized that it was hope that was shining in her eyes. Just then he realized that he was staring at her.He looked away. “Nothing.” “Um…Inuyasha?” “Yes?” “Did you mean what you said earlier?” “Yes.” She smiled up at him. Just then she happened to glance at her watch. “OMG! We’re so late. We have to leave now!” “Are you kidding? You just went through a big ordeal! You don’t need to go to school.” She just looks down at her shoes. She raises her eyes and he could see the pain in her eyes. It almost killed him to look at her. But before he could he say anything she turned her head away. Then she whispered. “That’s even more reason to go. I need to keep my self-busy. And gong to school will do just that.” He looked at her and saw the pain in her eyes. He reluctantly grabbed his keys. Once they were in the car she smiled at him. “Thanks.” “No problem.” They just stared at each other.
