Love and Friendship

Chapter 3

Five minutes later they were at school. “Well at least we got here in time for English.” “Yeah.”  They then met up with Sango and Miroku. As soon as they saw them Sango ran up to them. “Where have you been missy!! I was worried about you!” “I’m sorry Sango but I was with Inuyasha.” They went to class. “Kagome there’s something that you’re not telling me.” “There’s nothing that I’m not telling you.” She looked at her friend and knew that she was lying. But she let it go for now. The rest of the periods went by in a blur. Finally it was lunch. Inuyasha and Kagome were lost in their own world. That is until they heard a high-pitched voice. “Inuyasha! Honey!” They all cringed and started to run away when she spotted them. “Inuyasha I was looking all over for you!” ‘Why dose this slut Kikyo have to ruin everything. ‘ “Hi Kikyo.” She of course was hanging on his arm. But he slides it out of her grip. “Honey when are you going to take me to the movies?” “First I’m not your boyfriend so stop calling me honey. Second you already had your chance.” He turned to back to Kagome, Sango, and Miroku. “Come on you guys lets go!”  They just left her standing there. “I swear Inuyasha I’m going to make you love me again. I swear.”

Days past. Before they knew it was winter. They were all under a cherry blossom tree.  They were laughing and talking. That is until they heard Kikyo. “Inuyasha?! Inuyasha?!” They all had come up with a plan to put Kikyo in her place. A few minutes before Kikyo reached them Inuyasha bent down and Kissed Kagome.  A few second late Kikyo saw them. Sango and Miroku just rolled their eyes at eah other. And gave each other here they go again look. Kikyo just stood there frozen to the ground. Finally Kagome and Inuyasha broke apart. “Oh, Hi Kikyo.” “H-H-H-Hi.” She was still shocked. But she got over it. “What are you doing kissing that slut?!” Kagome was going to kill her but Inuyasha held her back. “Let me go Inuyasha! You expect me to let her get away with that?!" He didn’t answer. “Inuyasha answer me!” He looked at her with a smile in her eyes. “Inuyasha!” He leaned down and whispered in her ear. “We’re going to let her get away with it and plan revenge later.” She just smirks at him.  She turns to Kikyo. "You’re not even worth it.” She turns and walkes away from her. “That’s right Bitch. Your to scared to fight me!” Kagome just ignored her and kept walking. “You act all tough but your not, bitch. Look little miss tough girl is too afraid to fight me.” Kikyo starts flapping her arms. Everybody laughes. ‘Okay that’s it!’ She turned and was going to lunge at Kikyo but Inuyasha held her back. “INUYASHA LET ME GO!” “I can’t do that!” “I DON’T CARE WHAT THE PLAN IS OR WAS! SHE FUCKING HAS TO DIE!” She try’s to get out of his grasp but can't. ‘ I don’t know how long I can hold her. The way she’s struggling is making it hard.’ Just then she manged to get out of his grasp. She lunged for Kikyo. She knocks her to the ground and chokes her. She was just about to knock her out when she grabs a hidden dagger and stabs her. Kagome immediately gets off of Kikyo and grabs her side. Kikyo took the chance to put some distance between her and Kagome. Kagome looks at Kikyo with a death glare. ‘I can’t let them see my pain.’ They rushed at each other. Kikyo was trying to stab her but she blocked it. “Is that the best you can do? That’s so pitiful.” “That’s not even my best.” Just then Kagome too grabbed a concealed dagger. “Lets see whose is better.” “Bring it.”  They  ran at each other daggers clashing. They were standing inches from each other’s face, glaring.

Inuyasha looked very worried. Kagome had one major injury that was bleeding a lot. Kikyo on the other hand was luckier. She had only small cuts and bruises. He couldn’t stand by and watch any longer. So he ran and grabbed Kagome and turned her around right when Kikyo gave her final attack.Instead of Kagome taking the blow he did. “Inuyasha!” everyone watched as he went to his knees taking Kagome with him. Sango and Miroku were right beside them in an instant. “You baka! Why did you do that?!”  “I didn’t want you to fight.” “But it was my fight you baka!” “I know that but I wanted to protect you and ‘cause I-I-I” With that he closed his eyes. “You what? Inuyasha? Inuyasha! Inuyasha!”  Sango tried to move her but she just shock her of her hold. Sango tried once more but she just leaned over his body and grabbed a hold of him. Sango finally gave up trying.Kagome just looked down at him and stroked his face.  She broke down crying. Sango also started crying. She looked over at Miroku through her tears and ran into his arms and buries her head in his chest. He simply holds and comforts her.
