What hurts the most is that things will never be the same again. -Author unknown

"Changed the game with that digital drop,
Know where you was when that digital popped,
I stopped the world,
Male or female, it make no difference,
I stop the world, world stop...
Carry on,"
Feeling Myself blasted from the car radio as Mya and I sang along.

I turned down the radio. "Can we stop at PetSmart? I want to buy Pebbles a little gift," I said.

Mya only met Pebbles once a while back when we went to Mike's house for a project we were all working on last year. Mya and Mike aren't close to each like I am to them.

"Awe Pebbles. I haven't seen him in a long time. We can go to the one by Marshall that's coming up," she said switching lanes. "What do you plan on buying Pebbles?"

"I don't know yet. I'm thinking about a toy and some doggy treats," I told her.

My phone starts to ring and I take it out of my back pocket. I looked at the caller ID and see that it's Mike.

"Hey, Taylor," he sighed. "I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to make you upset," he apologized.

"It's fine Mike. I think that I may have exaggerated a little over something that small anyway."

"A little?" He chuckled.

"Mike. Don't make me start exaggerating a whole lot more," I grinned, rolling my eyes.

He chuckled. "You still plan on coming over right? Or are you ditching me for Mya again?"

"Stop whining and acting like a little girl. Yes I'm still coming over. I'm making a little stop for Pebbles to get him a gift. Mya's helping me pick," I told him.

"When does he ever stop whining?" Mya joked.

"I heard that. But Taylor, the gift might not be a good idea if Mya's helping. Pebbles just might chew it up into pieces," Mike jested.

Mya rolled her eyes. "It's because I'm that delicious," she said.

I chuckled. "Okay, okay. I'll see you soon Mike. Bye."

"Bye," he said, hanging up.

"It's because I'm that delicious? Really?" I repeated, laughing.

Mya chuckled.

I turned the radio back up and sung along to the next song that was on.

"Time to go early Christmas shopping for Pebbles," I said as Mya pulled up onto Pet Smart's parking lot.

"You plan on buying Pebbles a lot?" Mya asked.

"It depends on whatever I find. If I like it for Pebbles, then I might buy it."

"I might have a good Christmas this year then," she said smiling taking out the keys and getting out.

"Maybe," I grinned.

"Good afternoon and welcome to Pet Smart," a cashier greeted us when we walked inside.

There was barking coming from dogs everywhere you go in the store. PetSmat let owners bring their pets inside the building only if they are trained pets. This place is always smelling like animals, mainly dogs.

"Good afternoon," Mya and I both greeted at the same time. I grabbed a green shopping basket just incase I do end up buying a lot. I never buy Pebbles a gift when I go over to Mike's house, but since I'm in a good mood today, I feel like doing something special. Even if it's just for a dog.
