Stacey's pov:
Thank goodness for it being Friday today meaning that my lovely children will be with their grandparents from their father's side considering I don't speak to my family anymore.
It was mid day around two o clock I was still at work wondering what I should do about this babysitting thing.i let out a heavy sigh and opens one of my desk drawers for a pen to sign some documents. When I looked down at the drawer I sow a picture of me and Mason it was our last day of summer it was also the summer before we started varsity. It was also the summer everything happened I remember this day like it was yesterday that day was the day Mason proposed to me....

July27 2011
It was a beautiful day outside.my family already knew of my pregnancy and kicked me out already about three months ago I only told them I was knocked up a month later. By this time Masons family had taken me in and took such good care of me and my baby. They were both the parents I always wanted it explained why Mason was how he was.
On the 27th of July he took me to his special place. He said he found it while taking a jog. It was a beautiful little place it was hidden from the world I remember there were so many tall trees and in the middle of all of that was a little stream with clear diamond waters and the view was fantastic. California looked absolutely breath taking at night from that view.
"This place is beautiful "I exclaimed
"Stacey I want to ask you something." He said looking a bit nervous. I smiled at him to assure him he doesn't need to be nervous."I'm listening " I said
He looked at me kinda sad."Are you..." He sighed "...are you happy with me?"
"What do you mean am I happy with you?" I asked confused
"You know after everything that has happened with you and your family I mean I'm the reason they don't want you.i got you pregnant because am an idiot that decided not to use a condom. I'm the reason your life got flipped upside down. I-i sometimes wonder maybe if you never met me maybe if you decide to choose Blake over me. Maybe just maybe you would be happier without me in your life." He said.
I looked at him a bit taken back."is-is that what has been bothering you for the past week?" I asked him he nodded. The poor boy blamed himself.
"Baby look at me?"I asked him moving his head towards me. He was on the verge of crying. Mason was always on the sensitive side.
"What happened with my parents has nothing to do with you or this baby they just wanted an excuse to get rid of me and honestly I could give two fucks about those fucktards..."
"You really need to clean your mouth." He said I rolled my eyes at him
"Whatever, and don't you dare say my life would be better with Blake because it wouldn't have.im happy I bumped into you Mason yes my life flipped upside down but it was for the better if I had to go back in time I wouldn't change a thing because what happened showed me my real friends." Our foreheads were touching.he placed a soft kiss on my lips before pulling away .
"I know how cliché this is gonna be but I'm a cliché guy." He said
"Yeah we've established that." I said
He smiled at me."ok here goes."
Before he even opened the little black velvet box I jumped on him."YES YES YES I'll MARRY YOU ." The whole me jumping on him was a fail because my baby got in the way and we fell down.
He chuckled."you could have let me asked the question before you answered I had a big speech prepared." He complained
Lier he doesn't do speeches."ok let's hear your speech." I said
"Erm....you see... It's like..." He stumbled
I laughed."you're a terrible Lier just so you know."
"Whatever." He said tickling me
"S-s-stop M-M-Mason gosh s-s-STOP." I stuttered he flipped us over with him straddling me.
He took out the ring and placed it on my ring finger. I recognize that ring "this is your grandmothers ring." I said looking at it. It was really a beautiful ring"she told me I should give it to my one true love and I have." He said placing a kiss on my hand.
"So I'm your one true love." I stated with a mischievous smile he looked at me skeptical."what are you planning?" He asked his eyes turning into slits. I giggled "nothing I'm not planning anything." I said truthfully
He scoffed. And shook his head but smiled leaning in."I love you Stacey Reed." He said huskily being pregnant and a teenager his voice did things to my body. Damn hormones. I smiled back at him"I love you Mason Donati." After I said that I felt soft lips on mine.
Present day November 6th 2015
"Hello earth to Stacey." I heard someone say I looked at the door and sow Kirsty looking at me in a worried manner.
"What?" I asked
"You ok you seemed really out of it?" She said
I shook my head."yeah I'm sorry what were you saying?" I asked
She walked into my office and noticed the picture a smile appeared in her face. She was the only one who stuck by me when everything happened. Apart from Mason and his family only a handful of people stuck around for me.
"I remember that day he forced Jerome and I to keep you away for hours just so he can hide that ring. You two have the grates love story I've witnessed." She said
I rolled my eyes."don't get all cliché with me." I said
It was her rolling her eyes now."Jesus child can't you just except a compliment." She said I laughed
"You came here for a reason." I said putting the picture back and closing the drawer.
"Oh yes it's Friday and you're little devils are at their grandparents probably eating lord knows how much candy you're home alone you're 23 and beautiful..."
"Where are you getting with this?" I asked
"There's a few of us going to this new bar just a few blocks away from the office and we thought you'd like to come." She said "please Stacey please." She asked with a puppy dog look.
"If I go will you stop with that face it's creepy." I said
"Yes I'll stop." She said
"Fine I'll go." I said
She jumped off the seat. "Jack give me my fifty dollars!" She yells
"You bet on me?!" I asked
"Si " she said with a smirk
"It's amazing I considered you my best friend." I said with sarcasm in my tone
"Oh shut your face you love me." She said
"Keep telling yourself that Kirsty."
"You wound me dear friend." She said fake hurt
I rolled my eyes"you're so dramatic get back to work you still have that you know." I said
"You're no fun always work work work." She said
"Well if you've forgotten we work in a police department and as we are talking someone is being murdered"
She flinched."when you say it like that it sounds so bad."
"That's because it is now go." I said
She rolled her eyes seriously if she keeps doing that her eyes will get stuck at the back of her head."ok I'm going but don't forget tonight ok I'll see you there." She said before leaving
Gosh she gives me a headache.
