Chapter 20

Harry's Pov 

I quickly parked my car in the parking lot in Edinburgh Infirmary. It was after 11 pm so visiting hours were already over. Louis sent me a text saying he wants me to wait for him before I go in. I started tapping on the wheel anxiously. He could be here any minute now. I kept looking around, hoping to spot his car somewhere. Suddenly his phone rang. I picked it up without checking the number and I started getting out of the car, thinking it was Louis.  

"Hello where are you?" I asked waiting for Louis to answer.  

"Louis? He got a bit caught up somewhere, don't worry I didn't kill him. What would be the fun in that? But I see you standing next to that shiny, silver Volvo which is Zayn's." I heard Cathrine's soft but annoying voice. I started turning around hoping to see her somewhere.  

"No need to look around. You won't see me. But why don't we end this little race of ours? 3,2,1." She hung up. Why don't we end this..3,2,1. Shit. I ran in vampire speed towards the entrance of the hospital. I stopped when I got inside and looked towards the reception. I ran up and the woman looked up.  

"Which room is Luna Morgan in?" I asked. She checked something on her computer.  

"I am sorry but Luna Morgan had been checked out ten minutes ago." She looked up at me with sorry on her face. Cathrine. She had all of this fucking planned. She made me think I could get Luna even though she knew I wouldn't. 

"If you hurry you can still catch her." She spoke up. "She was checked out by her mother Jane Morgan."  

"Her mother?" I muttered. Her mother passed away. This was all fucking planned and I didn't notice. I pushed myself away from the desk furiously and sprinted out shouting a thank you to the receptionist. I ran around the parking lot searching for Cathrine. But I saw something else, Louis. I ran up to him and got into his car.  

"Get out. Get Zayn's car and go home."  

"I didn't fucking drive 6 hours for you to send me home so I will go after you." He jumped out of the car and I sat in the drivers seat. I started driving and as I turned out of the parking lot I saw Cathrine in her car parked at the side of the road. She blew me a kiss again and leaned back for me to see Luna. She was pale and had a few scratches on her face, her hair had lost a bit of colour and she had a bandage at the side of her head, just above her ear. She had teary eyes and was probably trying to hold back her tears. I widened my eyes and I noticed Zayn's car in the rear view mirror. Cathrine turned onto the road and I did likewise, following her. She wanted me to follow her cause if I sped up and got a little closer she did likewise, but she never let me lose her. At the moment all I could do was follow her, so I drove patiently.  

A few minutes later she turned onto a pretty abandoned road, it was narrow and two cars wouldn't even fit next to each other. I took a peer behind me to see Louis still coming after us. Then out of the blue Cathrine took a sharp right turn and was now driving towards what looked like a farm house. In horror movies good things don't happen in farm houses. I took a deep breath and kept driving. She eventually parked in front of what looked like a garage. Me and Louis both parked next to her and when I was about to get out Cathrine appeared next to my car and held a gun towards Louis. Really? We are freaking vamps and she is using a gun.  

"I only need you curly. Louis can stay here. Oh and keep the distance please." She slowly backed away still holding the gun. I looked towards Louis and signaled for him to stay in the car. He shook his head but I signaled again and I must've had anger on my face cause he settled down and leaned back in the car seat. I slowly opened the car door and stepped out, shutting it behind me. Cathrine smirked and lowered the gun.
