"Kid, did you hear about the academy that your dad is
running." Kid looked up at me a little surprised. We were both still young, but we both looked up to our families," I.... I'm going to be join in it, so you won't see me any more." His glair loosened a lot." What, no you can't go." I looked at the ground and twittled my fingers," I would stay, but its my moms choice. My family thinks its about time for me to become a mister while I'm still young." He dropped to his knees and screamed in agony. I hugged my dearest and only friend and got up. Tears were spilling out of my eyes," I have to go, maybe I will see you again." I ran off without saying another word.

My hands were shaking in sadness, I finally let a tear slip down my face. The hallway was very noisy, it was giving me a headache." Ms. Keiko, wait up." I turned around quickly and saw Mr. Stein." Um.. yes, you wanted me." He was panting heavily and unevenly." Lord death wants to see you... he has something for you." I sighed and followed Dr. Stein. When we got to the death room, lord death was having tea." Lord death you called me." He nodded and pointed to two girls. They were in a protective stance arguing about something. Beyond them was a shadowy figure.
"Kid, is that you." He got up and smiled. I ran to him and hugged him," I missed you so much, I'm so so so sorry." He gently stroked my hair." Its ok, kieko, I missed you to." Tears slipped down my face." What are you doing here, aren't you out destroying the manner." He chuckled," well, I'm now officially one of your class mates now." I looked at lord death and growled," YOU COULD HAVE ENROLLED HIM SOONER!!" Kid flinched as did the girls.
I dropped to my knees and broke into tears." Uh... kieko, why are you crying." Kid sat down in front of me and hugged me tightly." I....-sniff- am crying because....-sniff- I.. I.. refused to show any emotions when I left." Kid sighed and hugged me tighter," silly, you know that isn't good for you," he said kindly and flicked my nose gently.
"Um.. kid, aren't you going to introduce us to your friend." He cleared his throat," kieko, this is Liz and patty, my weapons, Liz, patty, this is kieko, my first friend." I wiped the tears from my eyes," its nice to meet you." I kirtsied politely, the girls bowed and giggled." Really please don't be so formal. So...." the girls got really close to me," were you guys dating or something." I blushed and shook my head," girls no, we were just friends, nothing more, nothing less." Kid looked at the girls like poison.
To them, they must have been tiny to a reaper. I broke into laughter," kid, stop it, they weren't bothering me, its fine." His eyes loosened as he looked at me." Really, for a reaper you sure act like a girl." I growled," kitty, I am a girl." The girls and lord death broke into laughter." I told you not to call me that around other people." I smiled," stop being such a meanie than."
We both started laughing," let's go destroy something." We both at once. I grabbed his arm and ran out of the death room. We ran through the half smiling like idiots." I'll race you outside. I used my reaper magic and summoned my roller blades. He summoned a skateboard." One.... GO." I started before he could even think. I jumped out the nearest window. My blades turned into boots and I landed on my feet I left a few cracks around me though.
I sat there and waited for kid. The main doors opened and he was panting." Kid what happened you look like you were attacked by a witch. He laughed sarcastically." How did you get here that fast." I pointed to a window," I used an open window." He collapsed exhausted." Aw poor baby, is he tired."
He got up," I have an idea, can we battle, its been so long since we have." I smiled," sure, I have to go get the twins though. Aw to hell with it.'' I summoned my ice blades." Go get the girls, I'll be waiting for you." The girls walked out," no need to worry, were here." I smiled," great let the games begin." The girls turned into twin guns.
"You know you always have had his thing for symmetry, im surprised you actually found twin guns." He chuckled," and you have ice blades. Wait your not going to use your weapons." I shrugged," there on vacation in Hawaii." He signed," and I was looking forward to seeing your weapon." I giggled," weapons. There also twins. But they are just so..... different."
He smiled," well." He was faster than I thought," he was so close, we might as well been kissing. I moved just a little bit backwards and he fell on me, not only that but he was kissing me. I hot scared and pushed him off. I backed away as fast I could." Um... well. That happened." The girls changed back and were laughing. I put my fingers on my lips and blushed." Hey kid nice move, you scared the hell out of her." I glaired at the girls with rage and threw a horse tranquilizer at each of them.
"Keiko, I'm so sorry." I blushed a deeper shade of red." Um.. I'm going into town." I got up and summoned my roller blades. I skated down the railing and to the town. I started laughing on my way down," well that went... um.. awkward." I hurried into town and went to the coffee shop. I sat down at a booth and thought about what happened.
His face was just an inch from mine. I moved backward and he kissed me, accedent or not. Just when I thought everything couldn't get worse, the twins show up." Alexandria, Stephanie. How was the trip." They sat down next to me." What's wrong, you look a little red, are you ok."
I fake smiled," yeah just needed a break from the stress." They both weren't not amused," keiko, spill it, what happened." I looked at the table and traced hearts on it." Well, my best friend came into town today...." the doors flung open and patty walked in." Keiko, kids really really sorry about... who are they."
I got up from the table and walked outside, pushing past patty," stop following me." I jumped on the roof and onto the death city wall. I sat on the wall and had a nice long thought." Maybe I shouldn't get all worked up about this, I mean... sure my first kiss was with my best friend..."
How would I be so calm about this... I don't.... have feelings for him.. do I.
