Dear whoever,
As I went down to the shop today to work my shift Paige asked me if she could talk to me for a minute.
And I was a bit afraid she was going to fire me.
But I couldn't really say no so I went with her and she asked me if I wanted to co-own the shop with her.
Because she met a guy and she feels like soon enough she won't be able to hold the shop together on her own.
I thought about it for a bit because this would determine what I was going to do for a big part of my life.
But I agreed.
Because this means that I can earn enough money to do all my taxes and everything and it isn't really the job I had in mind for the rest of my life.
But I actually really like it, and it takes away my insecurity for my future.
I'm just really glad I don't have to worry about that any more.
It feels like a weight lifted off of my shoulder.
And somehow the world seemed to smile at me today because after she finished talking to me I got behind the counter and not even a second later Connor walked through the door with his sunglasses on and a big smile on his face.
He quickly made his way over to me and I already started making his coffee at this point.
He told me that I looked different, happier.
I told him that I got some good news and he told me that he was happy for me.
As I set down his coffee he leaned over the counter and quickly pulled me in to kiss me.
Which I was happy about.
Because I wouldn't have been able to take initiative so I was glad he did.
He also asked me what time got off and if I wanted to hang out afterwards.
So now I'm quickly writing this letter while getting ready to go out.
Connor wants to take me to the skate park he always goes to.
And I'm not really into skating or anything but I'll be with Connor so it doesn't really matter what we're doing.
