"OMG! I AM IN LOVE!" I used to exclaim to myself from time to time, and Paris was becoming beautiful than a dream. The thought of having found someone whom I can call "mine" like literally.. in every possible way.. He was mine!
We spent days together, enjoying and he showing me the city in the day and in the nights we had our own beautiful world to live in. I had 3 more days in Paris and I couldn't miss any chance to see him. I had checked out of the hotel I was living in and moved in with him.
It was my last day with him. I was leaving , I had an afternoon flight. Martinez was to leave for a meeting, he dropped m half way , though he insisted to company till airport, I denied!
It was last day I could meet him. We had plans for a long distance, talking over calls, texts, social handles, video chats and thousands of options-technology is so advanced!
But I was already sick of technologies all around it was first ever time that I had somebody to meet up beyond virtuality. I decided to stay one more day! Thought of a plan to surprise him. I cancelled my flight the last minute, went for some shopping , No not for myself, I bought an elegant red tie and flowers to mark our Love Relationship. I took a cab back his home right from the airport. I can't explain that in words.
I reached his home, knowing he wasn't at home I opened the door with duplicates. He had told me where he hid them, in case of an emergency. I opened the door with that key. That day was the end of a beautiful story of my presumably beautiful life.
The house was empty like no one lived there.
He was gone!
Don't know where? I tried calling his number. It was switched off!
He just vanished as if he never existed!
That night looking for him at the bar, the restaurants where he could possibly be... All went in vain! I checked every possible place.
I decided I am going back home to Bordeaux. I will never think of him. I don't know if such a man ever existed!
