The car was packed and ready to go from the hospital to the Winchesters home. It was full of nappies, bottles and all things baby. The only thing that was missing were the actual babies.
"Where are Sam and Em?" Castiel asks his husband, looking around for any sign of the two little car seats that held babies.
"I thought you had them..." Dean replies, looking around himself innocently while mentally slapping himself.
"You left them in the hospital?!" Dean was about to argue back when a nurse came out carrying the two car seats that held their children. Both boys blushed with embarrassment and the disapproving look the nurse gave them both before taking herself back inside of the hospital building. "I can't believe you did that."
"It's not my fault! They're so small, it's painfully easy to forget that they are even there!"
"How could you possibly forget that they were there? They have literally just been born three hours ago." Castiel crossed his arms over his chest and raised an sass-filled eyebrow at his husband.
"I had other things on my mind." Dean huffed in reply.
"Other things apart from your children?" Cas asked sarcastically. "And what could possibly be more important than them?"
"I didn't say what i was thinking was more important! I just had other things on my mind. You know i can't wait for the day that you first forget them in a shop or something because then you will know exactly why i accidentally left them in the hospital."
"Dean!" Cas snapped, waiting for the apology that Dean was so casually avoiding. Dean finally sighed and looked down at the babies by his feet.
"Fine, baby i'm sorry i forgot out three hour old children in the hospital because my mind was more preoccupied on whether we are going to have any time to ourselves to have sex." Dean muttered and Cas groaned and lifted up the car seats.
"You are disgusting."
"Get over it." Dean grinned and slid into the drivers seat while Castiel was strapping the twins into the back seats of the car. Cas slid into the shot-gun seat and grinned at Dean while he was turning on the ignition. "Ready to go home and begin being parents?"
"I was born ready." Cas answered, smiling widely before looking back at the two sleeping babies.
"Well technically you were born straight so this scenario would be a woman who had just pushed a baby out of her vagina in the seat next to you if-"
"Dean shut the fuck up and drive."
"DON'T SWEAR IN FRONT OF MY BABIES!" Dean gasps and sets the car in gear while Cas just rolls his eyes and leans back in the chair tiredly. It felt like they had spent days at the hospital but now they could finally drive home with their children and start their new life together.

"Why can't you walk damn it!" Dean prodded at the little girl and frowned. "I think something is wrong with her."
"Dean she's a day old. Leave Sammy alone!" Dean shrugged and picked her up off the floor before carrying Sam back to her cot. Cas was in the middle of feeding Emandriel at the time while he snuggled up on the sofa and watched some kind of art program.
"When are you going back to work?" Dean asks, wiping some spit out milk from off his shirt before going to sit down next to Cas and put his arm around his husbands shoulders. Cas shrugged and looked back down at Em again, taking the bottle out of his mouth and wiping his chin with the bib.
"Soon, maybe in a couple of months or so. We will need to find a hired sitter for when we both go back. Either that or i stay back while you go back to work and when they go into nursery i can go back."
