Welcome to Neverland
---------------------I felt someone shaking me slightly. "Victoria...Victoria...wake up..." I slowly opened my eyes. I was still in the London alleyway. I turned to look at the person who woke me. It was a boy, he looked maybe only a few years older than me. He had brown hair and fair skin. Blue-green eyes that could end a staring contest almost as fast as it started. And I've never seen him before.
"Who are you?" I asked sleepily.
"I'm Peter." he replied.
"What are you doing here? This isn't a very great part of the city, you know?" I questioned.
"I'm here to take you to Neverland." he smiled.
I thought about Ms. Serive and her story. I looked at Peter, "Neverland? Like with the Lost Boys?" He nodded and I started to get it, "Oh my goodness! You're Peter Pan!" I shouted.
"Sh, you don't want to wake your neighbours." He laughed, "Come with me, I want to show you something." I took his hand and he walked with me to the clock tower, Big Ben. The security guard was fast asleep so we walked right past and to the top. He opened the little panel to go on the outside of the clock.
When we got there, I was literally staring at every bit of the town that never gave me a home in awe. It was ridiculously big. There were parts I'd never seen before in my life. Mansions and shops. The giant ferris wheel, which I'd obviously seen before but not from this height. Same with the river Thames.
" It's all so beautiful and snowy and big!" I exclaimed excitedly. I never let go of Peter's hand though, I was afraid I'd fall.
"Isn't it? Look over there, see that star?" Peter asked me. I turned to look where he pointed. There were lots of stars, but I knew which he meant. There was a big star right next to a little one. The big one was the North Star. I learned from the story. I nodded. "We're going to follow it." He grinned at me. I got excited, but I wondered how. The stories I was told mentioned magical things that didn't exist. Fairies, pixie dust, flying ships. We couldn't just fly...could we?
"How?" I asked him.
He smiled, "Faith," he walked towards the edge with me, "trust," he held my hand tighter, "and pixie dust!" He jumped off with me and whistled. Suddenly, a small light flew under us, "Now, Tink!" he shouted. The light made a bell sound and in an instant, there was what looked like glitter everywhere and we weren't falling anymore. I was in too much shock to speak. I was flying.
I was flying with Peter Pan. Never in my wildest dreams had I thought this would ever happen. I started laughing slightly hysterically. Peter looked at my quizzically, "Are you okay?"
"Even better! I can't believe this is happening! 7 minutes ago, I was sleeping in an alleyway, now I'm flying!" I asked him to show me how to do it on my own and in no time I was flying just like him. The little fairy from earlier turned out to be Tinkerbell. I was going to Neverland!
We flew towards the second star to the right and straight till morning. We passed boats, islands, towns, and we even went up into the clouds and saw the wispy shapes from above. We had banter, though usually I was in complete awe due to my surroundings being sky and pixie dust.
I watched the sun rise and then I saw it. Neverland. It was beautiful. It was surrounded by clouds and covered in green. The waters were such a beautiful crystal blue. The skies were clear and I couldn't help but be excited.
Finally, we reached Neverland and peacefully my feet hit the sand. Peter smiled at me, "Welcome to Neverland!"
