You rummaged through the pile of clothes that was lying on the floor with regret beginning to wash over you. You looked at the digital clock that sat on an end table; 15 minutes before class. You quickened your search through the clothes, tossing items in every direction. You were determined to find your necklace before you left this dorm.

One night stands weren't typically your thing, yet here you found yourself the morning after; scavenging through the pile of your one night stand's clothes. When you had awoken, he hadn't been by your side. You weren't exactly sure how one night stands worked, but you just wanted to get the hell out of that guy's dorm and pray you never saw him again. Thus, your determination to find that necklace before you left.

Once you ran out of clothes to search, you stood up on your feet. You scanned the dorm room in hopes of spotting the necklace lying somewhere. The room was surprisingly neat, and simple for a college guy's dorm. Just a few posters on the wall and some law books neatly stacked on the desk behind you. You nodded approvingly at the law books, since you were majoring the same subject. The desk also had a picture of your one night stand standing between two older men. You picked up the frame, and looked at the image carefully. Through the drunken haze from the previous night, you hadn't entirely realized how attractive your one night stand had actually been.

The sound from the room door being opened caused you to panic. You ended up dropping the frame onto the desk, causing the glass to crack. Your one night stand walked into the room, holding a couple of bags of fast food and some coffee. His eyes landed on your panicked face.

  "I am so, so, so sorry-"You apologized as you picked up the frame, to inspect the damage.

He smiled at you. "It's fine, don't worry about it."

"Are you sure? Look I can-"

He placed the bags of food on his bed, and walked over to you, handing you one of the coffees. "It's fine." He insisted. You reluctantly took the coffee from him, as you silently thanked him. He nodded, and turned back to the bags of food. "I wasn't sure what you like for breakfast so; I just got one of everything." He explained.

Your hand flew up to lie over your heart and you smiled at him while he began to pull out the different breakfast items from the bags, laying out a miniature breakfast buffet on his bed. Suddenly you remembered what you had been searching for before he returned. "Hey, have you seen the..." Before you had even finished speaking, had reached into his pocket and pulled out your necklace. "Oh."

"I found it in my car, when I went to get all this." He explained as he handed you your necklace.

"Thank you-" You stopped, a pang of guilt hitting you as you realized you didn't even know his name.

"Sam."

You nodded. "Thank you, Sam. I'm-"

"Y/N, I know. We're supposed to have a class together in," His eyes darted over to the digital clock. "10 minutes."

"Supposed to?" You questioned.

He shrugs. "I figured we could play a little hooky."

You laughed at his suggestion, suddenly realizing just how sweet he was. You nodded and walked over to his little buffet. This was not how you expected your one night stand to turn out.
