Another one that was not requested. Simply did it because I was tagged to do a drabble on tumblr. :)

It'd been a few years since you left the brothers. Running into the Winchester's was bound to happen. You tried your best to keep the cases you took far away from the brothers, but you knew it was only a matter of time until the 3 of you would end up on the same case. And that's exactly what happened.
When you realized they were already on the case, a big part of you considered leaving them alone. They were more than capable of handling this case without you. But the elder Winchester was delighted to see you. He insisted you join them. Sam on the other hand was silent.
"I... I'm not sure. I think you guys got a handle on this." You say.
"Aw, come on. Y/N, it'll be like the old times. Right, Sammy?" Dean hits Sam's arm.
Sam glares at his brother before clearing his throat. "Yeah, just like the old times." He fakes a smile.
The coldness the younger Winchester was giving you began to anger you. You knew he did not want you there and it only fueled your emotions. You knew you were being immature probably irrational, but you didn't care.
"You know what. Why not?" You smile at Dean then turn to lock eyes with Sam. "I'd love to join you guys."

The 3 of you spent the next 2 days cooped up in a motel room. Studying the case, looking through different lore and finally figuring out what the creature you were hunting was. Tired of researching, Dean decided to take a break. He announced he would go out and grab some food for the 3 of you, meaning you and Sam were left alone.
"It's a pack of werewolves." You finally said.
Sam flipped through his book without looking up at you as he spoke. "Yeah, that's exactly what I said. Would have saved us some time if you hadn't-" He trailed off, regretting saying anything.
"If I hadn't what?" You asked with annoyance in your tone.
He lets out a sigh. "Nothing. Glad we can agree it's a pack."
"No. No. You will not shut me out like that," You get up from your seat. You take a few steps towards the bed he was sitting on and cross your arms. "What's your problem?" You ask.
"What are you talking about?" He asks, finally pulling his eyes away from the book to lock his gaze with yours.
"You've barely spoken to me for the last couple of days, acting as if you don't want me here and I want to know why. Why are you being such an ass?" You fume.
Sam scoffs. "Really? I'm the ass?" He asks.
"Yes, really."
He takes a moment, considering his next words. Deciding it would be best to just drop it, he gets up from the bed. He pushes past you, grabs his coat and heads for the door.
"Wow, of course. Walking away, like always." You shout after him.
He freezes at your words as they snapped something inside of him. He releases the doorknob and turns to face you.
"You walked away. Not me." He says sternly, pointing a finger at you angrily.
"No, I didn't." You reply in disbelief.
"Then explain it to me, Y/N. Explain your sudden disappearance. Where have you been the last 4 years?"
"I..." You struggled to find the right words. You hated to admit it, but Sam was right. You had in fact walked out on him. You'd fallen hard for the younger Winchester and he knew it. He wanted to make things work with you because he too reciprocated your feelings. The two of you were in the life after all.
But one hunt, one accident and then it became all too real for you. Sam had gotten gravely injured. Before your relationship with him, you'd been able to detach yourself from your emotions, your surroundings. This wasn't the case anymore. Your mind was no longer in complete focus and in the moment you saw him go down, your heart sank to the bottom of your stomach. You dropped your weapon and quickly made your way to the younger Winchester. With tears running down your face, you cradled him into your arms, begging him to hold on just a little longer.
If it hadn't been for Dean, the creature you'd been hunting would have killed the two of you; and in that moment you didn't care. That's when you realized your relationship with Sam was dangerous, not only for you, but for him. And soon after you made sure he would be okay, you snuck out of the bunker and that was the last you'd see of the brothers for a few years. As much as it pained you to leave, you knew it was best.
