Under The Sea

Chapter 2: Searching gone wrong.

[(Lapis' POV)]
"She's right" I think "I can't hold her down much longer." I continue to hold her down knowing I have to protect Steven. I know that Jasper is strong, but I am stronger. Or at
least I think.

[(Garnet's POV)]

I walk out of the temple to find it's dark and Steven and Amethyst are snoozing on the couch. I quietly leave and replace my glasses with goggles. "Time for more searching" I tell myself. I walk in the water to find it's rougher that usual. "Oh, great" I think to myself. I start swimming. For miles and miles all I see blue. I'm starting to think we won't find her. Starting to doubt my skills. I'm always known as the leader of the group, but I can't even find a huge gem in the bottom of the ocean. "How great am I" I say to myself sarcastically. I feel myself falling apart. I try to keep it together. But I just can't do it.

[(Sapphire's POV)]

I start freaking out. Very unusual for me. I'm in the ocean and I see Ruby. I swim over to her. "N-no, we unfused. And at a time like this?!?!" I say. Ruby tries to calm me. We need to keep searching. "It would be easier if we split up" I say. She agrees, we swim our separate ways and search.

[(Ruby's POV)]
Me and Sapphire split and we are searching for Malachite. All I see is a sea of blue. Then suddenly I see a bit of green. Then I see a hand coming at me. It grabs me. "SAPPHIRE!" Is the only thing I could say before she poofed me.

[(Malachite's POV)]
Lapis and Jasper are arguing inside me. I grabbed a gem, poofed it, and now I'm looking at it closely. I identify and it as a Ruby. Take 2-3 hours to reform. Suddenly the arguing is too much to handle. I unfuse.

[(Lapis' POV)]
I am holding Ruby's gem and chained to the ground with Jasper. "O-oh no" I say. "YES!" She says. "You gonna fight?" Jasper asks. "Any day" I respond.
*start song*
I use the water to quickly form a sword and shield. Jasper summons her comes at me right off the start. I swiftly doge her attack leaving her head butting the ocean floor giving me a chance to move. I strike her neck quickly and backward. She roles backwards. While I'm not paying attention she comes up at head-butts me. It hurt but I'm still fine. I remember the gem in my pocket. I quickly put it away to keep it safe. I have no clue how important it is to Steven. Suddenly I see a small blue gem swim up. "RUBY WHERE ARE YOU?!?!" She screams. I look away and get hit by Jasper again. I quickly try and decide what to do. I have Ruby she wants. I quickly block Jaspers hit with water force. I take the gem out my pocket and toss it to the Sapphire. "Just go way!" I yell. She leaves asap and I can't continue to block and hit Jasper. After a while, we both are on the sea floor, injured. I still have her chained down. We are both laying on pain when Jasper slowly falls asleep. "She's so 
cute when she's sleeping" I think to myself. I sit and just watch her sleep, I personally dislike sleeping. "She's so beautiful" I say to myself quietly. I slap myself. "No, I don't like Jasper" I think to myself. "I don't like her" I think again. "I like her" I whisper to myself.

[(Garnet's POV)]
I decided not to tell the gems everything. It's best for them to only know some of what happened. "So" Pearl says "Why did you call us all down here?" "I have a very important topic to talk about" I say. "Last night I was searching for Malachite. I came upon Lapis and Jasper unfused, but still chained. It was strange. They were fighting. "Wow, Cheeto puff and ocean girl fighting, doesn't surprise me." Amethyst says. "This is important Amet-" I start. "Yes this is very important Amethyst. We now know Malachite is split up and Lapis still has Jasper down" Pearl interrupts. "Pearl." I say.  "Sorry Garnet" She replies. "This meeting is over" I say walking into the temple.
