I didn't think this was going to happen in a long time. Especially now. With all the anger in Tobias's head...I don't pull back. Being in Tobias's arms makes me feel safe. I haven't felt safe for the couple of days I've been awake. So I don't pull back. Se hug for awhile until Tobias pulls back. Without saying a word he walks out the door.
Christina comes back in.
"So...how'd it go?"
"He just walked out" I respond and walk out the door. I have to find Caleb. I need answers. I go to the room I first woke up in.
"Caleb!" I yell
he's dead. Tears coming down my cheeks I pull out a "phone" that Caleb gave me and look for The name Tobias. I don't know why I'm calling him. Maybe it's because I think he will know what to do, maybe because I feel safe when he's around. I found it. I click it. "Hello?"
"Tobias! Caleb he's he's..."
"Tris what happened?"
"He's dead."
"Where are you?"
"Where I woke up."
He hangs up. I just stand there staring a Caleb. For a second I think I see him move, but then I realize I'm just being paranoid. Tobias walks through door. He doesn't even look at me. He just walks in and checks for Caleb's pulse. I already know.
"Tris..."
"Don't"
I walk away. I don't know where I'm going. I just know I want to scream, cry, die. But I can't leave Tobias. He may be mad at me, but I love him. I find myself in an abandoned building. I recognize this place. All I see is glass and wood. The Amity compound. All I want to do is scream. I don't even know it but I'm screaming. I look around there's a dead body. How'd I even get here?
