Drew had been right. When he entered the house, his mother sent him up to his room. Not that he didn't expect it. This was the fifth fight he'd gotten in that semester. He was surprised he hadn't been suspended sooner.
Sitting in his room, all alone, he realized how sad he was. He always knew he was but know the emotion was slamming into him like the brick wall that had mangled the right side of his face. He felt lonely; the silence ringing against his eardrums. As if on cue, there was a rattling knock on his bedroom window. He glanced over to it and saw Livvey; a pretty girl with dyed blue hair and long faux eyelashes. She smiled. Drew walked over and opened the window, letting her climb through. She was wearing a floral printed crop-top and black skinny jeans. She eased through the window and landed lightly on the floor, slipping off her pink Vans.
"After you left, Black told us Gunner dislocated his shoulder," Livvey stated, "You really did a number on him, Drew." She planted a kiss on his cheekbone, then slouched on his bed. She looked up at him.
"Well, it's good to know I made a difference," He replied. Livvey chuckled.
"Did you see that girl?" She asked, almost scornfully.
"Liv, I see girls every day."
"No. There was this girl in the crowd while you and Gunner were fighting. She was like, staring at you. She wasn't laughing or cheering or anything, just looking at you, like, weirdly."
"What did she look like?"
Livvey bit her lip and glanced at the ceiling in thought. "She had brown hair and greenish brownish eyes, and she had a skirt on, it was blue, and a black tank top."
"Does she go to school at BridgeStone?"
Livvey shook her head. "No. I've never seen her. But she was our age, and de was like, really pretty. Like, we're talking supermodel pretty."
Drew raised his eyebrows. "What concerns me is that she doesn't go to our school and yet she was on our campus."
Livvey shrugged. "What concerns me is a pretty girl staring at my boyfriend. She seriously was so pretty in a... Natural way."
Drew pursed his lips. "Well, that's weird. Did other people see her?"
"Yeah. Tanya was like, talking really badly about her. She was saying that the girl was a huge peeve that snuck into schools to watch boys fight. Tanya can be such a-"
"Well, when you go to school tomorrow, look for her and if she's still there, come tell me."
"Kay," Livvey smiled. Her light, almost faded looking blue hair frames her pale face beautifully. "You know, you're probably the best looking boyfriend I've had."
Drew laughed. "Yeah right."
"No I'm serious. You're like, really cute. And if Aphrodite back there was checking you out and not herself, you must be a pretty big deal."
"Stop it, Liv," he sat down next to her and grabbed her had. "I'm sure she wasn't as pretty as you are."
Her cheeks blotched red. "Drew! How do you get on so many fights if you're so nice!" She stood up and walked back to the window. "That's all I wanted to tell you. I'll keep an eye out for her, I'll be back tomorrow." She climbed out the window and was gone.
