Forgotten and Alone

Blue's first word

I woke up, it was the afternoon. I rubbed my eyes from sleep. Blue was still on my mind. I got off my bed and got dressed in my snow white shirt, navy blue skinny jeans, Batman sweatshirt and navy blue high top converse. I went down stairs and heard my dad was sleeping on the couch. And my mom was on the computer. So I quietly went in the kitchen to get some food for Blue. I got him some salami, a brownie, Cheetos, and some Blue Hawaiian punch,hot sauce and a dog bowl. I collected these and went out to the back door. I got into my car and drove off to see Blue again. I got to the factory and went inside. I walked up the stairs to find Blue. "Blue! Where are you? Blue! I came back! Come on mate where are you?" I started looking around the empty factory. "Blue?" I herd blank foot steps. I turn around and see Blue running at me on all fours at full speed. "No-n- no Blue!" He knocked me down and started to lick my face, he was so happy to see me again. But his breath stunk like feet! "Blue get off!" He eventually got off me and he was so happy. I rubbed his drool off my face with my sleeve. "Look what I got you!" I got out the bag of Cheetos and dog bowl. I Poured some into the bowl. He went over to the bowl and started to eat the Cheetos. "Good boy." I patted his head he licked my hand. He quickly finished and licked the bowl. "Want some more?" I poured some more in his bowl but added a little secret ingredient.(Hot sauce!) He once again started to eat the Cheetos but in middle of chewing he started to feel the hot sauce. He started breathe heavily. To the point he started to wimper in pain. I couldn't take it anymore I poured some Punch in the bowl he started to drink and calm down. "Sorry Blue I thought that would make you talk." He looked at me hurt. "Sorry I said again." I patted his head.
He looked at me again with those eyes. He accepted my apologie. "There has to be some way to make you talk. Alrighty Blue come here and sit." He sat down looking at me again. "Alright repeat after me. Can you say Rose?" He opened his mouth to say something but he just burped. "Nice, this is going to be longer than I thought." "Rose" I said again for the millionth time. Nothing. "Come one it's just one word I know you can do it, I know you can. Rose." He opened his mouth hope filled my heart. "Rrrr" "Yes Blue you can do it! Rose!" "Rrrroosseee" "Yes!! Good Boy Blue!! AGAIN!" He smiled. "Rrroose" " Again you're doing great!" "Rrroose Rose Rose!" "Good boy Blue! That's my name!!" "Rose Rose Rose!!" He yelled and started to run around in circles. I went to hug him but he just jumped on me and started to lick my face again. "Gah! Blue! Okay okay good boy! Stop it!" I pushed him off and patted his head. How about we celebrate. I Poured some Punch into his bowl. He started to drink it. "For your first words" I held up the bottle and took a sip. "Here have a brownie." I gave him the brownie he gladly took it. I looked outside and saw the sun was going down again. "Blue I have to go the sun is going down." I looked at me with sad eyes. "Rose?" He said worried. "It's okay Blue I'll come back after school alright? I promise. I packed up my stuff but left the dog bowl. "I'll feed you dinner when I can okay?" "Rose" he said once again. I kissed him on the forehead. It was dirty and greasy. "Ew" I wiped my mouth. "Tomorrow im going to give you a bath. You really need one. And a shave and hair cut and to brush you're teeth." I walked out the door. "Bye Blue see you tomorrow." I walked to my car and drove off. When I got home mum asked me where I was and just said I went to the mall. I walked up stairs, took a shower and went to bed, thinking about Blue's first word. "Rose" With that in mind I fell asleep once more.
