Forgotten and Alone

Blue's first steps

I woke up and saw Blue still asleep on my lap. I pat his head, carefully get out of bed trying not to wake him. I get ready for school, I put on a minion shirt ,black skinny jeans, blue converse, and my favorite batman sweatshirt. I get my stuff ready and see that Blue is fully awake. "Morning Blue" I ruffle his hair. It was soft and smooth this time. He licked my cheek. "Thanks Blue but us humans kiss with our lips not our tongue. Okay Blue got to go to school, you stay here and do not make a sound alright?" He nodded "Rose" He said reassuring me. " Thanks Blue and you be good. Here watch some T.V maybe you can learn to talk from that." I turn on the T.V and put on a kids show. Don't want him to swear just yet. "Bye Blue." I gave him a hug and he looked me and the eyes. Those eye just stopped me in my tracks. They looked so intriguing, so beautiful, so innocent. I kissed him on the forehead and locked the door behind me. I shake it off and go down stairs for breakfast.

(Blue's thoughts)

Rose looked so pretty in her clothing. She told me not to make a sound and I'm not going to let her down. When she was about to leave I looked at her and looked into her beautiful green eyes. Trying to tell her I love her. But one problem I don't know how. She put on this thing with a light and it moved and talked. I listened and try to copy the words it said. As I was watching I looked outside and see the sun and the trees changing colors. I imagined Rose with the trees and sun as we run together. I look back at the talking thing and try to talk myself.

"Waiting for that bell to ring takes for ever!" I said to my best friend Lily. "I know why can't it ring already I want to go home and sleep! I'm exhausted." RINGGGGGG!!! "Finally!" I say and run to my locker then to my car and straight home to see Blue. I got inside. No one's home,good. I run to my room and see Blue asleep on the floor. The T.V still on. I walk over to the T.V and turn it off. I walk over to Blue and wake him up. "Blue wake up Blue." I shake him gently. "You're Here!" He shouts. "Blue! you can talk now!" He jumps on me and kisses me on the cheek. Not with his tongue but his lips. "And you know how to kiss with you're lips?" "Yes I do. Using you're tongue is what dogs do." "Guess what Rose?" "Yes Blue?" "I-I-I love you." "Aw Blue I love you too." He smiled like there was no tomorrow. And hugged me sort of. He tried to stand but he fell on top of me. "First things first I have to teach you how to walk." I helped him up. "Okay Blue try to stand." He stands up and we wobbles a little, and he starts to lean forward, I catch him. "Okay Blue walking is easy, you just have to do it step by step alright?" I grab his wrists and he starts to step forward. "That's it Blue! You're doing it you're walking!" "I I am?" "Yes!" Blue kept stepping forward until he stopped. He turned around and started to walk towards me. Wobbling a little. I didn't notice how tall he was, he was six feet nothing."Blue! You're doing great!" "Yes I am!" He cheered. "Blue are you hungry?" "Yes please." "Okay I'll make you spaghetti how does that sound?" "Yay! What's spa spa.." "Spaghetti?" "Yes! What is it?" Come down to the kitchen with me and I'll show you." Me and Blue go downstairs to the kitchen. And he wobbles to the table. And sits down on the chair awkwardly. I go into the cabinet to get the box of spaghetti. I make the spaghetti for him. And put it on a plate. "Here" I put the spaghetti in front of him. He starts eating like a dog. "Blue." "Yes?" He picks up his head with sauce all over his face. "Blue humans don't eat like that." "They don't?" " Blue we eat with forks." "Ohhhhh." I put the fork in his hand. "Okay Blue,you use the fork to put the Spaghetti in your mouth to eat it alright?" "Uh yes?" He picked up the fork and had it awkwardly in his hand. He picked up the spaghetti and put it in his mouth to eat. "Very good Blue!" As we finished our dinner. We went back up stairs just in case mum and dad came back. "Blue you wanna watch a movie?" "What's a movie?" I pulled out my favorite movie as a kid Lilo and Stitch. I put it on and he sat smack front of the TV. As we watched I started to get more and more sleepy. "Okay Blue time for bed." I turn the TV off and get to bed. "Come on Blue tomorrow is another day." "But what happens to Stitch? Does he have a family?" "He lives with Lilo and his Ohana. THE END." I pat the bed for Blue to sleep next to me. Started to drift once more and fell asleep. So did Blue.
